Perfect for a large group or multiple families, this 3400 square foot vacation home boasts dramatic ocean views from the floor to ceiling windows lining the main living area as well as views of the ocean from the new family room and each of the 5 bedrooms. The open floor plan of the main living area includes a large living room, dining room, and kitchen, with a cathedral ceiling and beautiful stone fireplace adding to the elegant feel of the home. The house is situated to maximize the day time sun and an extensive 1600 square foot wrap around deck directly off the main living area is an ideal space for grilling, entertaining, outdoor dining, and relaxing. The large lawn is great for families and leads to a private classic Maine beach with stunning views of the ocean and surrounding area. The home is situated just minutes from restaurants, shops, the sand beach area of Lincolnville Beach, boating, birding, hiking, and many other outdoor activities.

Main Living Area

The main living area consists of an open floor plan living room, dining room and kitchen, all of which benefit from the floor to ceiling windows offering ocean views from every angle. The large over sized living room with a 15 foot cathedral ceiling and beautiful stone fireplace is a great place to relax or entertain. The room includes comfortable seating and a large flat screen TV perfect for movies. Three large windows add ocean views to a spacious dining room. The newly remodeled kitchen includes granite counter tops throughout, additional counter seating off the island, and is fitted with modern, high end appliances. Just below the large 1 acre lawn, enjoy access to a private classic Maine beach with amazing panoramic views of the ocean, islands and mountains.

Bedrooms

The main living space opens to 2 separate bedroom wings for an expanded ranch style home perfect for multiple families or large groups. The east wing contains a spacious master suite with a walk in closet and floor to ceiling windows offering beautiful ocean views. The newly remodeled full master bath includes double sinks and shower. A second bedroom with full ocean views is found in the east wing and shares a full hall bathroom with a shower and tub. The west wing of the home includes 3 additional bedrooms, each with an en suite private bathroom. The 3rd and 4th bedrooms are similar in size, each optimizing ocean views with floor to ceiling windows and include en suite private bathrooms. The large 5th bedroom provides ample space and includes an en suite bathroom and separate entrance off the driveway.

Newly Renovated Basement

Newly remodeled basement includes a large family room with 18 feet of windows to enjoy complete ocean views throughout the entire room. The living space also features a full wet bar with refrigerator and microwave. The basement also includes a new laundry room with brand new appliances as well as a full bathroom with tiled and glass shower.

80th birthday celebration
This home was the perfect place to get three generations together to celebrate my father's birthday. The bay views were outstanding from every room in the house. There is much to do in the area from hiking Camden Hills State Park to sailing on Penobscot Bay. We highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful home in a lovely setting overlooking Penobscot Bay!
The house is clean and updated with every amenity. The photos represent the house well. The house Is beautiful inside and out with wonderful updated bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. The location is perfect for day trips to Camden, Belfast, Acadia/Bar Harbor and even Portland. The views overlooking Penobscot Bay are spectacular.

Magnificent property
This property could not have been more perfect. Exceptionally clean, high end appliances, well equipped kitchen and very tastefully decorated. The view was absolutely stunning. Perfect Maine vacation!
I cannot say enough positive things about this house! It is beautiful, well-stocked, and we will never forget the view! The floor plan allowed privacy for each family (we were 2 families of 5), and the kids loved having the huge yard. We spent hours sitting on the deck watching boats and wildlife. The location is perfect! We rented cars and were easily able to take day trips up and down Maine's midcoast. Bill was very attentive and responsive. We cannot wait to visit again!

Wonderful House
I've been renting houses through VRBO/HOMEAWAY for over 20 years and this was the best ever. Everything was just as described and perhaps even better and Bill could not have been nicer to work with. Pure Bliss in Maine
The PERFECT home to enjoy a week in Maine. The house is beautifully situated, secluded with INCREDIBLE views. The kitchen is wonderfully appointed, a cook’s dream. The home wants for nothing. The pictures don’t do it justice. It was so beautiful it made it difficult to leave the property to go out and enjoy all the area has to enjoy, Camden, Belfast, state parks, great restaurants etc. We are already planning our next trip to Northport and the Connell’s dream property.

Perfect home!
We were 5 senior ladies looking for relaxation in a beautiful environment and we found it at Bill’s property. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom on one floor. We toured one day and chilled at the house the next day. Day and night we were on the deck or on the Adirondack chairs around the property. This is truly an amazing property; our family (3 gens) of 10 are all impressed and enjoyed the stay (wish to have more time). We rated 10 out of 10 for the oceanfront view and the design/spacious of the property. The amenities are plentiful; to the point there are much more than we expected or have experienced in our previous rentals. This location is perfectly center for those who want to visit the Acadia National Park and surrounding Maine coastal towns (all within 2 hours). We really appreciate the opportunity to have a memorable time in this wonderful and well designed property.

Beautiful property!
We enjoyed our week at this house overlooking the ocean. We loved the comfortable living room where we could sit and watch boats go by. We cooked many meals in the kitchen, and we appreciated how well equipped it is. My family of four, my cousin's family of four, and my aunt and uncle were all very comfortable in the common spaces. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, watching our kids explore the rock beach by the ocean. The location between Belfast and Camden is excellent - we were never bored and found many good places to eat at. I highly recommend this vacation rental! We will be back!

Wonderful Family Vacation!
Our family from Pennsylvania spent the week and had a fantastic time. The house is so beautiful we did not want to leave! The house is very well stocked with everything needed to make you feel at home. We grilled, enjoyed the gorgeous view of the bay, watched wildlife, played corn hole in the back yard and had s’mores around the fire pit. We went to Acadia for a day which was an easy 90 minute scenic drive north. Camden and Belfast are close and were fun for shopping and had numerous restaurants. Most of the time was spent at the house which is spacious, clean and so relaxing. Our family included small children, a baby, adults and seniors and everyone loved our stay at this beautiful home!

Retreat on Penobscot Bay Northport
My husband and I stayed here in June 2020. We shared our stay with a couple of our best friends this time. We didn’t do much traveling, but did a boat ride from Rockland, shopping in Camden, a few restaurant trips in Lincolnville, Rockport, and Camden. We stayed and lounged at the house. The house has everything we needed with help from our grocery list filled from Hannaford Grocers. The view out the living room was always changing. We had sunny days and rainy days. The landscaping of flowers was beautiful!! No matter which window you looked out was beautiful! We’d love to stay again! Thank you Bill, for sharing your lovely “home away from home.”

Gorgeous house!!
Incredible house right on the ocean. You have the impression on being on a boat. You can hear the waves at night! Lots of space, feels like everything is new and perfect! The owner was super responsive by text message which was wonderful. He had planned for the snow to be removed before our arrival to make things easy for us. It was perfect! The kitchen is great, very well equipped, even for a French family like ours. We dined every night at the house. Camden and Belfast are really fun. Wonderful cheese shop in Belfast, not to be missed!! We would love to come back in the summer!

Breathtaking View and Gorgeous Home
The second we walked into this home the view completely took our breath away. Gorgeous sweeping and unobstructed views of the ocean from just about every point in the house. Incredibly unique and smart floor plan- one level and two wings which would allow privacy for a large group. The back deck that spanned the entire length of the house provided hours of relaxation as we watched the sea loons, herons and the occasional early morning lobster fisherman. The beautiful new kitchen led to many inspirational cooking moments. Private beach was also a huge plus and a great spot for a lobster picnic. The owners thought of everything with this house including binoculars and outdoor blankets which were perfect for evening/early hours on the deck and also included a “welcome to our home” bottle of wine in the refrigerator. Belfast and Camden are conveniently close yet once you are in this house it’s really difficult to leave. Would rent this again in a heartbeat!

Peaceful Retreat!
Beautiful getaway! Beautiful views! Beautiful home! The owners provided everything you would need for all your comforts of being at home. Lots of windows to view the ocean. We watched the ferry cross Penobscot Bay and finally used it to go to Islesboro Island. We didn’t listen to much music or watch cable tv. We listened to the ocean and the birds. We loved this property and it’s setting so much we didn’t make a big effort to travel to see too many other sites. There’s easy access to grocery stores, and restaurants with a fill of sea food. While staying indoors, there’s a closet full of games, a bbq grill and a lobster pot. Although my husband and I found this gem for ourselves, the home provides for large groups. We found peace and tranquillity which will forever be embedded in our memories. Would we come back? No question! YES! Our needs were met and exceeded. The owner Bill, checked in to make sure we were accommodated for. He’s a text or a call away for any reason. We had the pleasure of meeting him and his adult daughter. Thank you Bill and family for sharing your coastal home with us.

Pictures Don’t Do It Justice
The view from this Northport property were better than posted on VRBO. Watching the ferry go by or the bald eagles fist made it that much better. What an incredible final evening when we enjoyed the deck overlooking the water only to notice the bald eagle was nested in the oak tree on the property.

We had a wonderful time and found the peace and quiet we were craving. The view did not disappoint, kitchen extremely well stocked and comfy living room furniture. the house was gilbert clean and internet fast/ cell service and dependable. This property is as wonderful as the reviews before me say. The communication was great with Bill. He was attentive to any issue we had and clearly has made great connections around here. We used his local lobsterman and had a great dinner, in addition to other recommendations! Cannot recommend this property enough!

Great family vacation spot
We've been vacationing in Maine for years as 2 families and as the kids have grown into adults I have to say this house is the perfect fit w/ so many bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The views were stunning and so relaxing and we even ended up swimming at the property way more than we expected. It was so cool to just randomly walk thru the living room and see the ferry crossing in the bay. Overall the location was great with easy access to Belfast, Camden, Rockland and we even ventured up to Acadia. Fantastic time had by all.

90th B-day family trip
The house, location, view, property are all top-notch! One of the most spectacular views around. Rocky beach on-site that we kayaked from almost every day. Plenty of room and privacy for everyone. The deck is enormous and has plenty of furniture for spending time outside. The owner is responsive to questions and easy to reach. Definitely a high-end property and well worth it in every way.

You will absolutely love this home
This property is simply gorgeous and perfect for our family of 10 (ages 2-74) with plenty of room to spread out. We spent a lot of time on the large deck overlooking the water and listening to the sounds of the ocean. The home is immaculate and beautifully decorated. Bill was easy to communicate with and the check in/out process is super easy. We traveled to Acadia one day, (1 1/2 hrs away), spent a day at the Lincolnville beach, shopped in Camden and took the Ferry to Isleboro. We also had a daily trip to the waters edge to explore the rocks. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed staying here.
