"Older but clean; we stayed here for the night that we were in Alpena. It was during winter; very pleased that the room temperature wasn't freezing cold when we checked in. Parking lot and walk ways were cleared, salted not slippery. We'd definitely stay at this Ma&Pop lodge again."

"A beautiful house on Lake Huron. Well maintained and inviting. The beach area has a lot of room for long beach walks, and there are beach chairs, kayaks, and a great firepit.The house also has a lovely fireplace. The he pnly complaint I had was that the TV could not get live sports games. Otherwise, I would definitely reccomend this property. The 2 times I had to ask questions of the host the response was promt."

"Nice little place for my husband and I to get away and relax for a night. The hot tub, sauna, and cabin itself are clean and well maintained, and pet friendly is a huge plus! The only negatives are that the couch is quite small and the furnace is very loud while running. Overall, it was a nice cabin and we enjoyed our stay!"
