"This is a beautiful hotel with an interesting and long history. The breakfast was absolutely the best you could ever wish for. The room was upscale, clean and comfortable. The staff all spoke English and were very professional. The only negative was a neighboring disco party that went to 1 o’clock in the morning we could hear the music in our room. I don’t think that’s the fault of the hotel, but it’s something to be aware of."

"It was our 2nd stay. The hotel ie good for families, great pool and activities for children. Rooms are small, but clean and modern. Food is ok for an adult, but definitely not 4*, more like 2* - soups are made from powder, it is basically colored water with, disgusting. Same for desserts and mashed potateos - made from powder not from scratch. There is a children playground - run down and dangerous. Last year it was covered with wasps, this year there were 2 wasps nests and splinters pointing our from wooden attractions. It would be good if children evening activities start earlier - sometimes it started after 9pm, which was a joke for a party aimed to small kids. There is no beach, but within 10mins of walking, there is Pila beach (just concrete stage) with free loungers for hotel guests and you can use golf cart - but sometimes it is not very reliable - last year we ordered golf cart from main beach for a certain time and it has never arrived. Overall, it is ok hotel for families and if you are planning your vacation in Punat, this is a nice option, but keep in mind, this is not to 4* standard at all. It needs a lot of renovation (when it started to rain, water was pouring everywhere on walls, in the lobby, dining area, etc), more care for children safety and activities and definitely on food - I would prefer less options but at least a little bit tasty and homemade, therefore suitable for children."

"Stayed here with my sister and had the most relaxing time. The house is situated in a beautiful, quite rural area close to the old town of Labin which you can walk to. First thing we saw on arrival was the beautiful pristine swimming pool, which was cleaned very morning, so remained pristine throughout our week long stay. The house, situated in front of the owners property is actually 2 self contained units, each having a kitchen, lounge area and double bedroom. My sister stayed upstairs in the air conditioned unit. Downstairs, which is solid brick is kept cool by keeping shutters closed to keep the sun out and only has an electric fan. The units are well equipped and spotlessly clean. The beds are very comfortable with crisp clean bedding. Doriana and her husband were exceptional hosts. On arrival Doriana gave us information on local restaurants, shopping, sights and beaches to visit etc. which was really helpful. We had a minor, non urgent issue with a door which was responded to immediately. Doriana also kindly brought us some local home made goodies. There is a variety of supermarkets a short ride away and there is a good choice of restaurants within walking distance. Our only regret is we only booked for a week and wish we had made it longer."

"What can i say, everything about this villa was perfect: location, cleanliness and quality are all 5* - pictures are 100% accurate. Great communication with the owner and even went out of his way to offer tips and advice on things to do and see in the local area. We would definitely return again. Highly recommended."
