No sheets and pillowcases no towels, doonas are stained with wee, and pillows were old and dirty. Be careful this place is cheaper than others but really not worth the savings!!!! Photos are deceiving.

First the positive: this hotel is in a very quiet area not far from Kristiansand. It's great if you're on a budget and looking for something as a rest point at the beginning or end of a Norway adventure. In my case, the weather had gone bad and I was waiting on the delayed Fjord Line ferry so as to return to Denmark. My room was clean and the property is pet friendly, which was a big plus for me and my dog! But...this is an older hotel that seems to be going through a slow renovation. There was only one person on duty during my two night stay, maybe the owner or a full-time manager. Regardless, he was very nice and helpful and resolved the couple of issues I had. There is no in-room heating; you may have to request a heater (at no cost) if the weather is cold. In summary, if you need basic lodging, the price is right as you will often pay more for a simple no-frills bungalow or campsite elsewhere in Norway.

Through a failure in the programming on the expedia.com web side I was charged double for the motel. I noticed it a week later on my bank account. I informed expedia support about this issue. They contacted the employee of the motel. To my surprise, they refused to transfer my extra payment back. I can only say it is a poor betray. I wonder that expedia service accepted it as a normal procedure. No more Sorlandet motel and no more expedia.

Dårlig opplevelse
Motellet hadde dårlig renhold og en vond sengemadrass. Det var svært lytt i mellom veggene noe som resulterte i dårlig søvnkvalitet. I tillegg var balkongen møkkete og vinduene var veldig støvete. Vel og merke var det hyggelig betjening, men stedet hadde trengt en skikkelig rengjøring med nye møbler. Vi valgte å avslutte oppholdet et døgn tidligere, fordi vi ikke ville sove der en natt til. Anbefales ikke!

Rar oppøevelse. Verken god eller dårlig.
Detter er motell og ikke en hotell. Ikke forvent så mye av dette stedet. Det passer for de som vil bare overnatte. Den verste er det at du ser ikke ser sær betingelser før du har betalt. F.ex du må ta med deg sengetøy, ellers må du leie den for 100 kr per sett. ( laken, dynetrekk og putetrekk). Det står dyrevenlig , men du må betale 200 kr for det per dag. Disse står ikke noe sted før reservasjon. De vil ikke refindere pengene. Rommet som vi har reservert, var det ikke det vi har sett på bildene på hotels.com. Rommet var bare en sluse. Vi trengte bare en overnattingsplass og var ok for en natt. Det er ikke noe man skal bruke sin ferie på. Det er ingenting rundt steder. Bare en forlat bensinstasjon. Ganske rent bad/wc og rom. Sengen var god å sove på. Ikke barnevennlig sted. Veldig bra gratis parkeringsmulighet.
