"We stayed for two nights at Rustic Lodge, to visit Plitvice Lakes. The lodge is small and cosy, and convenient to entrance 2 of the National Park. We had dinner at the lodge one night, which was simple but good value. Dinners and breakfast are payable only in cash. "

"This place is like a fairy tale, we absolutely loved Rústico! It’s so green, the little cabins and rooms are perfect for one or two nights to visit the park. "Great location behind the big waterfall, where you could see it from the top with a 5 min walk. It is perfect by a car to go to the hotel or you will need a taxi to the hotel from the entrances or major bus stations in the area (around 30 euros as of April 2025). The property was exceptional with beautiful decorations and quality furniture, and was extremely comfortable in the beautiful nature. You can walk to enter the park through a location near the upper lake port. If you take this option, I think you might better to buy a ticket on line in advance as you will need a ticket to ride on a boat to go to lower lake. Of course you can go to entrance 1 by your car or a taxi. The staffs were very helpful giving advices on my plan in the park. "

"Property is best located of all hotels at Plitvice. Directly above Park entrance. If you stay at this hotel, a one day Park Pass is good as long as your stay lasts, which is a great bonus. Breakfast buffet is solid. Other restaurant is OK. Many options in the area. Rooms are old but cleanly with nice balconies. It is a very good all around stay. We'd definitely go back again. "

"I can't say enough about the Bura 45, the staff were very friendly, and super informative about the area and dining options. The breakfast was excellent, and we appreciated parking right in front of the hotel. We loved looking out the windows to the sea, and exploring the lovely area of Senj, very relaxing vibe! We weren't sure about where to go in Croatia before going to Plitvice Falls, the pictures of the Bura 45 sold us on going to Senj. Senj actually ended up being one of our favorite places in Croatia mainly due to our stay at the Bura 45. Thank you and I will absolutely recommend this hotel and Senj to anyone we know who will be traveling to Croatia!!"
