"We had a lovely large room with a private balcony on the third floor. The sunset was over the water directly in front of us. A nice beach restaurant right next door. A few miles drive north to other Islamorada attractions. Two thumbs way up !"

"I was pleasantly surprised that part of the package involved in staying at Amara Cay included use of two of the sister resorts in the area. Our room overlooked the outdoor dining area and we were treated to evening entertainment sitting on our balcony. The pool was marvelous! "

"Beautiful place to sat yin key largo, room was very nice and clean. Only con was there’s not much parking close to the front side of the property. We had to park on the backside of hotel which wasn’t far but still far enough ti where it would be a long walk with our bags. "

"It was very close to the water with my own parking spot right next to my cottage. I loved the privacy of having my own cottage. I also loved being able to take out a kayak each day with no extra charge."

"We thought, according to their website, that their was a transportation vehicle to take you anywhere within one mile.We were told they didn't know anything about that.This was an important feature to us, that upon showing up, they didn't have it."

"The hotel's hot tub went out 2 days out of our 4 night stay. The pool was supposed to be heated as well but it was not. They had a part that broke. The outside of the hotel was nice but the inside was basic and old. The rooms do not look like the photos posted. The drawers were off the hinges. $15 basic breakfast fee not included. It was not worth the price we paid. The location was perfect and convenient to all the stores. Cheaper hotel in the keys area. "

"We visited Breezy Palms for our 20th wedding anniversary. We took advantage of the boat rental on site, had a great day on the water. Played cards on our lanai. Used the lovely pool, walked to local restaurants, and had a memorable time. Definitely will be back!"

"Everything was lovely except I felt rushed on my departure date. A front desk representative knocked around 9am to find out what time I was leaving. If your check out policy is 11am, you should not knock on people’s door to find out what time they are planning on leaving. It doesn’t feel like a luxurious experience when you do. In addition to the early knock, the entire housekeeping staff was waiting by my front door when I checked out at 10:25. What if I wasn’t checking out at 10:25 and was...

"Love this place! Very friendly and secluded. Not your typical resort-look elsewhere if that’s what you want. But if you want a friendly private sailing camp where you hang out with other fun people and like to sail and kayak, this is absolutely it! The use of the sailboat alone more than pays for the room."
