"The camper was an affordable option to stay in Key Largo. It was a bit tight for 5 adults but owning an RV myself, it was to be expected. We basically slept there and took advantage of the great location. I was a little disappointed there was no washer in the unit. There is only the laundry in the campground that I believe takes money to run and you need to be in the campground to switch it around and collect it ( I typically throw it in washer in the morn and dryer when we return). "The location was great. The location was great. Close to food shopping (Bike riding distance). Close to Pennycamp. The place was clean and tidy. Communication with the host was good. It is a camper, keep that in mind. If you like big showers and kitchens, this is not a place for you. Don't think you are going to cook a big breakfast or dinner for your family in a timely manner. Just go eat out. We wasted a lot of food. Glad my sister joined us who lives in Florida as we were able to give her all...

"First time staying in an RV. Impressed by how easy & efficient everything was. GREAT communication by host with local recommendations! Good amenities in the campground including a pool, shuffleboard & more. Kids loved lounging in the hammock chairs. Host had 2 double kayaks available but we didn't use them."

"TVs did not work, none of the remotes had batteries, when booked we were to have the outside boat house to use as it had beds but that was taken away. Instead there are 2 foldouts in the living area. The upstairs bed is just a mattress and you cannot stand up. We had a great time, the place is clean and cute but should really be advertised for 4 adults, not 6. My husband and I would stay again if planned for just the 2 of us."

"Love this place! Very friendly and secluded. Not your typical resort-look elsewhere if that’s what you want. But if you want a friendly private sailing camp where you hang out with other fun people and like to sail and kayak, this is absolutely it! The use of the sailboat alone more than pays for the room."

"Overnight stay at Marina Del Mar on way to Key West was great. Would definitely do this again. Nice staff, rooms overlooking marina, the on-site open air restaurant was great for relaxing and for dinner with very reasonable pricing. "

"I absolutely loved my stay here. Check in was easy and the very nice man who checked me in gave me many wonderful recommendations for things to go see (most of which I did go see). The property is quiet overall and I got a parking space right next to my room. The private beach, although small, was decked out with plenty of chairs. I got some wonderful sunset photos from the dock as well. It is an older property and the room I had was a bit small, BUT I was barely in the room. It was comfortable and I slept well. Not a complaint, just a helpful tip: The locks on the doors are a little tricky, so it took me a couple days to get the hang of it (don’t push the key in super hard). There’s a little restaurant next door with a wonderful breakfast. On the other side there’s a great Italian restaurant. I have no complaints. I loved my stay and this was hands down the best vacation I ever had. I will definitely be back!"
