"This place was a wonderful home base for our trip to Germany! The rooms were very large and the furniture comfortable. The kitchen had a big fridge-freezer & all kinds up extra electronics like an egg cooker, water kettle, coffee machine, even a dish washer. The owners Sandra and Andreas were very helpful with any request we had and provided a welcome basket with fresh German beer from the region & a personalized bottle opener. "The house is large with well-stocked kitchen and many areas for relaxing, eating and sleeping. We did not know we had to reserve the bedding ahead of time, so had no bedding the first night. This may have partly be due to lack of clear communication as the owner's English was not strong. The house also was not as clean as we would have liked and some elements were not working properly, such as one shower. The washing machine was not available (as it is shared) when we wanted to use it."

"The house was a perfect place to spread out and relax, while exploring the Rhine by car and boat. The paid parking lot was very convenient to the lodging (once we discovered the shortcut under the road and up some stairs). We didn’t take advantage of the sauna or the jacuzzi tub, but the washer and full kitchen was perfect. I was surprised to find that the bed on the top floor was a waterbed—I slept like a baby.
