Lickert Harder Or Knot Lodge

Country Setting with a relaxing enclosed front and back porch. Fire ring and hearing the sounds of the great outdoors. Great location to Lake Erie for sight seeing, hunters, fishermen and bird watching. Plenty of room to park your boat and vehicles. We have a lane to walk to the creek and even fish and relax. Our 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom country home can accommodate up to 10 people comfortably. Location to lake is 1 mile, fishing ramp within 3-5 miles. We are located in the prime area for walleye and perch fishing. Lickert Harder Lodge makes you feel right at home and relaxed while being close enough to many activities on Lake Erie. We are located by the largest bird week at the Ottawa Wildlife Refuge. If you like to fish or hunt or just love the lake your coming to the right location. We offer a supply of firewood for your stay
We also have a creek down the lane just to take a relaxing walk and grab a pole if you want to do some fishing back at the creek while your there.
A fish cleaning table is available for your use at the home outside. Also many lounge chairs to just relax and enjoy the country living while seeing a fabulous country sunset! Biggest Bird week at Ottawa Wildlife Refuge. National Rifle Matches at Camp Perry . Walleye and perch fishing are the best on Lake Erie! 32 miles to Cedar Point and 15 miles to Port Clinton to get to Put in Bay and the other islands. Back to the Bay 15 min from Jet Express

Great farmhouse stay
The property is big and clean, perfect for our 7 person family. It’s in the middle of farm country but still not far from things to do. The hosts were gracious and communicative.

A pleasant surprise!

My husband and I stayed here with 3 friends during an early Lake Erie fishing trip. The house is great with plenty of room for lots of people. The hosts communicate great and add lots of nice homey touches. We would gladly stay here again!

Peacefull retreat
Wonderful house with everything you need for a quiet getaway. Owners very attentive to all our needs. Close enough to port clinton but far enough to really enjoy the country. Will definitely stay here again.

We rented this unit for our fishing charter trip for 6 of us. It was an outstanding place! Clean, comfortable, convenient, plenty of space. It accommodated all of us with separate beds. A bathroom with full shower upstairs and downstairs. We wanted to book for next year and the dates are already taken.

A very warm and welcoming place to stay! We had a great relaxing weekend! On Saturday afternoon we went to the Tackle Box restaurant in Fremont for some delicious Lake Erie perch. A very unique place with good and friendly service!

Wonderful Weekend in a Wonderful home!
Our yearly trek to Ohio to visit our son was a hit! The house was well stocked, very welcoming and clean. The owner greeted us upon check in and was extremely nice. We stayed at the house the entire weekend watching football and eating good food. The kitchen and open floor plan is great for families. Beds were comfortable. we have no complaints!

Wonderful Family Get Away!
As our family has grown and our kids have gotten married, we were looking for a place where we could all gather together and this was the perfect spot. With a large, fully stocked kitchen, wonderful dining gathering table, and the spacious living room, we had plenty of room to gather together but then spread out for free time. The house is very clean, the property is beautiful and everything we needed was available. We highly recommend this home!

Pleasure to deal with...
I asked the owner if we could arrive early and drop luggage and go fishing, she was all for it! She stayed long enough to give us a proper tour of the facility and we headed out. Homeowners were very kind and gracious and we will 100% be staying again.

Lovely Farmhouse
Enjoyed our stay at this property. Visited the Toledo area for a couple nights to attend a concert and it was perfect. Plenty of room for our four adults and a dog and had everything we needed. The owner left us a welcome package and a dozen fresh farm eggs that was such a nice touch. Gayle was very personable and made the whole process effortless. Would like to stay again longer in the summer!

Great family gathering location
We hosted a three generation family reunion at the site. The home and property were immaculate. The kitchen supplies exceeded our expectations and fresh eggs shared by the owner was so thoughtful. The little people of our family appreciated the toys and puzzles. We also enjoyed the brief history of the home and the opportunity to place our stars, from three states, on the map.

Perfect location to McGee marsh area
Great country house, many amenities, 5 bedrooms but sleeping arrangements a little odd, 2 bedrooms downstairs are great , but upstairs bedrooms are inter-connected so privacy is comprised! Not a Hugh deal but one to be aware of in mixed company, overall a great place for a group, owners are nearby to help with any issues if needed, will definitely stay here again!
