Busier road then expected so walking between the cabins with smaller children would have to be supervised - limited grocery storage for the five of us - later check in the most and earlier check - out! "I stayed in Roxie for a solo, unplugged, disconnect-from-everything getaway and it was amazing. The cabin is adorable and cozy and Sherri and Joel thought of everything. "Enjoyed a quick weekend getaway on the lake in Newcastle. It was a great place to rest and watch the changing season with beautiful islands and fishing all close to town for oysters, a river cruise, and a nearby brewery. Appreciate that you are dog-friendly as well!"

"Unit 9 was perfect for the 3 of us. The kitchen had enough of everything we needed to make breakfast. The living room was spacious and relaxing. The bedrooms are tight; one bed was firmer than the other. It was too rainy to use the nice deck and picnic table. Despite being located on Route 1 we were not at all bothered by highway noise. We would choose to stay here again."

"Very clean with well equipped kitchen and a nice deck but very tight quarters for a group of 5, ac in living room but no fans in the tiny bedrooms, no ventilation in bathroom or kitchen, nowhere to dry wet swimsuits or beach towels. Layout assumes that people will be sharing beds. Read the fine print about pets."
