"Quick stay and halfway house for a wedding event. We booked Quest Hotel Tagaytay because of its convenient location next to malls and 2 major routes to Tagaytay and back to Manila. We got in at 10am but the one man front desk was able to quickly facilitate our check-in. They also took and acted on my request for 1 bedroom to have 2 single beds for our grown-up children. Service is great with the hotel despite some amenities getting a bit old and tired such as the towels. Breakfast operated by Baker J’s is so-so. Don’t get fooled by the special beef tapa. Hotel needs to put-up blackout curtains which cover the fill windows instead of roller shades which has gaps that lets the the sunrise come-in and wake you up at 6:00am. Choose the mall facing rooms so you won’t hear the roosters in the small barrio across the Serin Rd. Overall, great experience with staff and happy without stay!"

"If you are looking for an serene, beautiful and hospitable experience...look no further! Some reviews say this place is "hard to get to" or "not close to anything"...isn't that the point of coming all the way out to this paradise!!! Starting with the hotel itself, it has everything you NEED. The hotel is a little older but for what it lacks in modern touches it vastly makes up for in a unique and classy European castle style. The beach is private and for most of my stay I had it completely to myself. There is some light music from adjacent hotels(probably bc I was there for New Year time) but aside from that all you hear is waves crashin and the chatter of local kids playing in the distance on the beach. Magical. The staff was phenomenal. From the moment I arrived they were waiting for me and continued to do so for my entire stay. They were a bit understaffed for the holiday but the staff worked day and night to make sure all guests felt @ home. It is secluded so there really is only the option to eat @ their restaurant...which is awesome! The owner is a German Chef and the menu reflects in. I was there 4 days and enjoyed every meal. Breakfast is included which is convenient and delicious. I also bought a 2 Kilo fish from a local and they prepared it amazingly for me. Fish prep fee was less that $35 USD. A unique and recommended special treat. Lastly, if you stay here you MUST treat yourself to a massage from Grace. Only 600 Peso and worth every cent! LOVE IT and TY!!!"

"This is my second time staying here, but I'm sad to say that the rooms I got this time were a little dated and smelled like mold (both of them). I booked two rooms, and the other room had a working aircon, but unable to turn off or adjust settings. I even bought new batteries for the remote. SMCO representative was nice and helpful, but I felt weird leaving the room keys in a locker with NO LOCK. what if someone stole the keys and cleared out the room? Will I be responsible for that? Representative assured me it's safe. She even told me about the paid parking, which was ₱350 a day. That was perfect and convenient! I wasn't aware about that on my first trip and parking was pretty far. Location was good, with a few restaurants and a small mall within walking distance, but I suggest renting a car or taking a Grab if traveling with elderly. Mornings were the best with many people to join in your morning walk. Ambiance and cooler temperatures were awesome! You also feel a sense of safety throughout most of the property. In spite of the mold in the rooms and the fact that it felt dated, I will still give it another chance and hope my next stay here will be better. Location and the big, open park to walk in is what I enjoy they most. I would still recommend this place to anyone looking for an inexpensive and enjoyable experience. "
