"This was a lovely old house from another era, an adorable private garden and situated at the quiet end of a lovely village. Could use some renovation and a more modern kitchen, if you were going to stay longer than a few days, but was fine for our short stay. Mr. Tixier was available just around the corner and by phone at a moment's notice which we really appreciated. He was responsive and nice--the things you need when travelling, as we were, in another country :) "

"Helpful host who adjoins the property so any issues easily resolved as they are on hand. Was very hot when we stayed and although fans provided it made sleeping in the mezzanine very warm. The pool was a welcome relief and kept spotlessly clean by the host who shut it down each evening and cleaned each day. Lovely welcome ‘basket!’ of wine, bread, pizza etc. great location to visit Saint Emilion, Bergerac etc and lots of fabulous markers. Would stay again"

"We were a party of 5 young at heart seniors who enjoyed every minute. The accommodation was of a high standard and a lot of thought went into the detail to make our stay 5*. The beds were very comfortable and the ensuites immaculate. The weather at the time was hot and we made use of the lovely pool and aircon. The location was perfect, isolated and quiet, yet only 6km from a delightful village Monpazier. I hope we have the pleasure of returning again. Thank you Sonja & Mark"

"Thibaud, the host, has created a lovely property that is very comfortable and well equipped. The house was beautifully clean and had everything we needed for our stay. "Characterful farmhouse in beautiful countryside .Far enough away from neighbours that you can let your hair down but can also enjoy the complete peace and quiet too.Beautiful Belvès and Cadouin a shortish drive away ensured restaurants when you fancies. The local night markets are not too be missed. During the heat wave the pool was essential and any issues with it were quickly resolved. There are low beams throughout the property with thoughtfully hung pom-poms to bring your attention to them....

"For the price I paid I was VERY Happy with Résidence Lagrange Vacances Le Clos des Vignes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location right next to the park / beach . We ate out most of the time but everything appeared to be within the apartment for those who eat in. Furniture a bit jaded, but again for what I paid for it I can't complain. Would definitely return.
