"Had a lovely holiday week. We had the house and flat, ideal for our party of 9 and three dogs. Plenty of space for everyone to relax. Kitchens have just been refurbished, main house one wasn't quite finished but not a problem. Love the outside space too, enclosed garden for the children and dogs. Visited both the pubs for drinks and meals too, good food and welcome."

"The house has been decorated to a very high standard, but the reason for my booking was the use of the pool. The property is sold as a pool holiday (rare in the UK), but the pool was not usable in a safe manner, with loose tiling and sharp edges. You advised me that there were 'a few loose tiles', but only after payment had been made. "We chose Hindscarth for a long awaited family reunion gathering members from across 4 different countries. It was a brilliant stay and we wished we had booked it for longer (we’ve stayed for a week). We loved the stunning breakfast views, the perfect combination of family and private space, and a great location for some of Cornwall’s best attractions. Mike was very responsive, and our stay was everything we hoped it would be. Can’t recommend it enough!"

"A lovely spacious place located in the heart of Tavistock. Rooms were great and the living area really spacious. There’s no parking but we made it work with our 3 cars using local roads and short/long stay car parks. The wood fire was out of action but the place was warm and cosy with the heating on."
