Ideal for couples or families, a country retreat close to the coast & Lewes

One of our three holiday cottages located in an old granary barn. Recently finished to a high standard, 4 star accommodation in a tranquil and relaxing area. Oat cottage has two bedrooms , a superking and a twin bedroom. Both having en suite facilities. The kitchen is well equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher fridge and separate freezer. A luxurious large leather sofa in the lounge area, and a super dining area too. The outside space is generous , with off road frontage parking for two cars. Under floor heating downstairs, very warm and cosy in winter.

Charming cottage, beautifully set out, a perfect holiday setting.

Peaceful family getaway
Had a really lovely time, very quiet but easy to get to bigger towns and coast. Beautiful conversion, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, we cooked at home most nights with no trouble at all, really enjoyed sitting in the front garden in the sunshine with a book and thank you Katie for the vineyard/cafe recommendations (Rathfinney, Alfriston) - it was the best view of the trip!

Sweet property, tidy, clean, nicely presented and well equipped. Hosts helpful. Did stay in a very similar property in the same area that was cheaper, but other than perhaps value for money no complaints. Would consider using again.

Enjoyed our stay in a well appointed comfortable property. Ideal if you want peace and quiet but within easy access of Eastbourne. The owners are helpful and welcoming. We would recommend it.

Oat Cottage had everything you could possibly want. It was very well appointed, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The surrounding countryside was delightful and Katie was a super host. We had a wonderful time staying there.

A Beautiful Country Cottage
We really enjoyed our four night stay in this lovely cottage in the quiet countryside. Oat Cottage was just right for the three of us.It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and the kitchen was very well equipped. Katie, the Owner was very friendly and helpful. We would love to stay here again when we visit East Sussex.
