800 Sq. Ft. cottage on the edge of Red Mill Pond near Lewes. Pond view and plenty of privacy. Located on a one lane development with quick access to Coastal Hwy which is the main artery to beach

Just minutes from downtown Lewes, seven miles from Rehoboth Beach and tax-free shopping at the outlets, and over 100 restaurants.

Relax on the front porch after your day in the sun or in the Adirondack chairs in the back yard sand. This light and airy retreat comfortably sleeps two, Fully furnished large upstairs bedroom has a queen size bed, dresser and armoire. Downstairs consists of the living area, kitchen, dining area, bathroom and closet space. Kitchen is completely stocked with coffee pot, microwave, stove and all dishes and pans needed to cook your own meal. Sheets and bath towels are supplied.

Although air-conditioned throughout, the cottage rarely needs more than an opening of the numerous windows to let the summer breeze cool you. Flat screen smart TV with your streaming channels, free Wi-Fi internet access.

What a cute cottage and wonderfully decorated! The expanding table to serve as both a desk and a dining table was a genius space saver/multitasker. Another great addition was the Bluetooth tower speaker to enjoy your own playlists. Again...a well thought out cottage, and kudos for the little touches like the makeup area complete with a hook for hanging a hairdryer (brought my own, but there is a hair dryer here for your use) and the bedside sound machine. Fantastic a.m. coffee sitting on the front porch rockers with the cool breeze and lake view!

Great mini-moon cottage

Cozy Cottage
I highly recommend this property and location. The cottage is gorgeous and has all the amenities of home. We went to Cape Henelopen during the day enjoyed both the ocean and the bay views. Spent time on the boardwalk in Rehoboth as well. We also enjoyed sitting out on the front porch and enjoying morning time together.

Absolutely Beautiful!
We had a fabulous stay in the cottage! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Location was amazing and within minutes of everything in town. On a quiet street with peace and tranquility. We came to Lewes for our Honeymoon and loved it so much - We plan on making it our yearly vacation spot!

My family and I have stayed here for the last 5 years and we love it. My boys are always sad to leave. The owner is always helpful and kind and the house is always spotless. We will continue to return to this place that we love and which holds a lot of great memories.

Nice cottage
Perfect size for two people. Traffic noise is definitely an issue if you want to sit outside. We had to turn the fan on upstairs to drown out the traffic noise in order to sleep. Location is convenient to downtown Lewes. Cute cottage.

Always an amazing stay!
I have stayed at this house with my boys going on 4 years now and we have never been disappointed. The house is super cute and has been immaculately clean every time. Lewes Beach is a really short drive, as is Rehoboth Beach. Joanne has always been a great host and is very responsive. I have to say, it's the best place I have stayed at by far. We can't wait to return again next year!

Beautiful Cottage, Great Getaway!
The cottage is beautiful and so cozy! We loved our stay in Lewes. The cottage is super clean (I'm very particular) and it is a great location if you want to visit several of the beaches. We especially liked Cape Henlopen. Our favorite restaurant was Salt Air in Rehoboth, but there are a lot of options in the area. Joanne is great to work with and makes sure you have a smooth stay. Recommend, recommend, recommend!

Just enough
This cottage was super easy to get to ( although the address is Pondview Drive and the street you turn off of is Red Mill Manor). Once we realized this, its right off of route 1, close to route 9 , town of Lewes and close to Rehoboth . The house is just right for a couple. The bed was comfortable, the house had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed the little touches the owner provider ( like a lighted makeup mirror). We would definitely consider staying here again!

Our second visit to the Cool Little Cottage exceeded all expectations, just like our first time. We were instantly captivated by its charm and beauty. The accurate description and vivid pictures truly reflect what awaits you. The cottage's prime location, mere minutes away from the beach and local restaurants, added to our overall enjoyment. We spent our mornings spent on the front porch and evening around the fire in the backyard. The host's delightful nature and prompt responsiveness to our inquiries only enhanced our experience. Fall Vacation
The cottage was just as I expected it to be - quaint, cozy, close to the beach and everything a person could want for a Fall getaway. I had cancer last year and the first 6 months of this year were very stressful and I just needed to get away from everyone and everything. I walked on the Lewes beach every morning and evening, enjoyed the front porch for relaxing in the evenings and basically was able to de-stress and enjoy my own company. I lived in Lewes during the summers I was in college so I am very familiar with the area. If I decide to do this again next year and the cottage is available, I'll be back.

Lovely cottage!
The cottage is lovely for a stay in the Lewes/Rehoboth Beach area. We loved the porch and sitting outside in the rocking chairs watching the birds. There is a nice back yard with a fire pit, tiki torches, and a grill. Bed is small but comfortable. Nicely designed and beachy-like. All you need for cooking. Only negative is it’s very close to the highway so you hear the roar of the constant traffic. If you are looking for perfect silence, this isn’t the spot. We placed our speaker towards the road and turned up the music which helped. Overall great though and we would stay there again.

Bright, well kept ,cheery cottage. Easy access to old town Lewes and highway to beach
Comfortable , clean, light , cheery. Although caveat: if visitor is older or physically impaired the bedroom is upstairs. Bathroom is on main level, and may be difficult to navigate at night considering stair risers are out of code and too high and difficult to walk down and kind of steep. Also bed mattress is extremely high. I had to jump on or lay flat and roll on. 5’2” tall. Yard is immaculate. Driveway convenient . Porch is charming. Hostess contacted us of a potential tornado , very thoughtful . You’ll have a good stay

Disappointing
No towels, no dishwasher, no washer/dryer, no privacy. The highway sound from route 1 is constant. Very difficult to get in and out due to poor visibility and no turning lane. 1 friend visited, stayed 1 night and we had to move her car so i I could drive. I was emailed by the owner to get back to her ASAP as the people monitoring the house found there was too much coming and going, suspicious for too many people staying in the home. It was me, one friend who stayed one night. Completely creepy and inaccurate. Choose another place.

Traffic noise
It is a very cute little place and very nice for two. The only bad thing is the traffic getting out of the road or even returning. Heading out you have to go right and returning you need to go past and make a u turn and slide over one lane to make the turn to the road. I was honked at many times for doing this. As well the home is very close to the road RT 1 and the traffic noise is unreal. I'm an outdoor type person and love sitting on a porch, but did only twice in the time we were there. Wanted to use the fire pit but noise was to much. Also no more cable there, but owner did keep it there till we left, but tried to log into it since we have cable, but would not work. Tried to get a news channel MSNBC on her new site and it would not at all show up. So again it's a very nice place and we did enjoy the time inside the home, but we live in the country and on a dirt road, so the noise was the biggest issue. But if your a city folks or from an area with lots of traffic and noise from it, I'm sure you will love it.
