"The rooms where beautiful. Upon arrival we got told they had upgraded our room. The room was amazing the staff where all friendly, We had the full english the next morning and this is a must its lovely! Overall fantastic stay and we will definitely be back! "

"This is my 3rd or 4th visit. The room price reasonable and having the restaurant attached means you can dip in and out as you need. The purpose of our visit was to see family and friends. The mattress in room 4 was poor. It ha a big dip in it. When I sat on the bedside, the dip in the bed meant I fell sideways. And similar when lying in bed, I rolled towards the middle.and woke every morning with a lump in my back. I didn't mention it until leaving as we had a busy schedule and changing rooms...

"The rooms are in outbuildings to the main pub. The old brick buildings are clearly worn, with paint chipping, large cracks in the ceiling, large stains on the carpet and generally in need of a refurb. The furniture is in a good state of repair and the bed is super comfortable. No fans available despite it being August and in the mid 20’s. Have stayed in a Marston Inn previously and had an excellent experience, however this one was well off the mark."

"This place is a little gem. The food in the evenings and the breakfast is first class. If we lived local we would definitely return for a meal. We stayed in the smallest accommodation they have available which has the worst reviews and whilst the room could do with a little TLC the overal experience of the accommodation and stay was excellent for the price paid. "LOVELY, PUB WAS GETTING VERY BUSY AT 6 O CLOCK TEA-TIME WHICH INDICATED HOW POPULAR IT IS. PRETTY OUTDOOR AREA WITH PLANTS AND FISH WAS BUZZING YET PEACEFUL FOR A FAMILY EVENING, THE ACCOMMODATION WAS SET IN THE GARDENS TO THE REAR OF THE PUB. MY BRICK BUILT B & B CHALET WAS WARM AND COMFORTABLE WITH ALL THAT I NEEDED, EVEN THE ALARM WAS PROVIDED BY THE NEXT DOOR COCKEREL ! I WAS TOLD OF RENOVATIONS TO BE DONE SOON.
