"Good value property and room spacious and clean. WiFi a bit intermittent. View of Etna from our balcony. Only downside is the location. Need to take a detour to get to the seafront and main restaurant area as limited option to cross the railway track. Usually took us 15-20 minutes"

"Absolutely amazing, clean, spacious living space. The grounds have plenty of sitting areas. I love the hammocks. It is a short drive to some beautiful beaches, restaurants and shops. They also provide a shuttle service. Its a well maintained and managed property. We would go back. The city is moving closer to the little paradise. "

"Excellent small hotel with superb friendly and helpful staff, fantastic well maintained grounds and stunning view of Etna from the pool. Its clear they show pride in their hotel and this is reflected in everything about your stay. Would say a car is essential to het best of stay, although about 30 min walk to local train station which had good and regular connections to some of the local main tourist towns and airport. "

"What not to like about this slice of heaven on earth! Beautiful place, super friendly staff, very clean room, comfortable bed. Loved everything and had a wonderful time with our family. "

"An excellent property. Stunning architecture & grounds. Truly family run. Very hospitable, welcoming & accommodating. We stayed for close proximity to Mr Etna & wineries. The food is farm to table - mostly made by ‘mama’. Gorgeous pool. Our only complaint is we should have booked longer. Many thanks to Sara & family. "

"I had an amazing experience at this hotel. Beautiful historic in nature in an excellent location. This building is early 1800 but rooms are fairly modern. Don’t expect a modern $500 a night hotel but for the money it was more than I ever expected. "

"Sehr schöne Unterkunft in einer tollen Parkanlage zwischen Weinreben, Zitronen/Olivenplantagen. Der Pool war sauber und sehr stylish. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich wie in einem alten Herrenhaus, sehr authentisch. Das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse war ein Highlight mit Blick auf‘s Meer auf der einen Seite. Die andere Seite mit Blick auf den Ätna. Sehr gute Lage zu Ausflügen nach Taormina, Ätna und Syrakus."

"It was too many high steps to walk for elderly people. I am 78 and had a really hard time to walk there. My feet were swallowed. Better for young and athletic people."

"Lovely place, lovely grounds, nice breakfast, very convenient for places like Taormina. The only slight issue we had was that we were looking forward to having dinner in their restaurant, where much of the food cooked would come from the farm itself, but they stop opening in the evenings from 20th October until April - we arrived 22nd October! Shame, and it would have been useful if this was advertised - they do still provide lunches at weekends though, in the off-season."

"This hotel offers all the benefits of a private villa yet the perks of a five-star hotel. It will soon have a Relais et Chateau boutique rating we are sure! Its location near Taormina yet higher up in the mountains means that you are very near many of the must sees of Sicily and learn a lot about the unique geology and history of the area. "We enjoyed our stay in Sicily and this house made it a pleasant experience. An electrical adapter is needed to charge your phone if coming from the USA. We enjoyed access to waters edge a short walk away. The cute town is fun to walk through and our restaurant fave was Fabianos."

"We enjoyed our three nights stay in the apartment. The place was clean and neat and had everything we needed. Simona was a wonderful hostess and we would love to return again! She was there to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely stay again, it was close to Taormina with a beautiful view to wake up to! Thank you Simona for a wobderful visit! "I loved this property. It was in a very beautiful location. It's not a very convenient location for walking, you need to take the taxi to get the station station and bus stop was not easy to find. The main area Piazza IX Aprile and shopping area is about 15-20min walk. Isola Bella is really far but doable about 30min walk. The hotel staff was really wonderful and helpful. Lufthansa lost our bag and we didn't get it back until the 3rd day. The staff did everything with calling the delivery guy and airport to see what they can do with speeding up process. The breakfast was delicious. Btw this was there last week before they close for the season November 8-15. "

Unforgettable Honeymoon

"The hotel was beautiful, clean, and in a great location. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and gave us great recommendations. It was our honeymoon and they upgraded our suite, the room was immaculate and the view was stunning. Giuseppe at the front desk was awesome. The food was delicious. The weather was rainy but we still had an amazing time. 10/10 honeymoon."
