"4th floor rooms have been modernized. Great Breakfast. Old town Udine is about a 10 minute walk away. Train station nearby but never heard any noise. There's a nominal fee for parking in an interior courtyard lot."

"Hotel staff very friendly especially the receptionists. Nice clean hotel. A few things could make it better > 1. A cool swimming pool for those super hot days. 2. Breakfast in bed Service. 3. Sky Sports TV channels. 4. The open outside space next to the bar, I would use that space and put either an outdoor infinity swimming pool there or seating for a restaurant. "We had a great two night stay at the grand Astoria hotel. The staff were excellent parking our car and bringing all our luggage to the room while we went to the pool as we were early. The staff was over the top helpful at all times. It was in a great location to walk to the beach which the hotel looked after getting us our spot. All of the great restaurants and shops were right around the corner. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Very nice farm house . It’s far from shops so you have to go into near by beach to get groceries. The rooms are equipped with stove and fridge etc. There was no water provided in fridge , you would have to provide own. The breakfast was nice but at the time we stayed the coffee machine didn’t work and no near by cafe to get a morning coffee. Expedia states check in at 9am we got their approx 930am and room wasn’t ready because check in was actually 10am. Would have been nice if they supplied...

"Excellent location for visiting all of Frulia and its charming villages. Hostess was knowledgeable,accommodating, and full of life. The unit and grounds were spotless and tastefully done. Would highly recommend."
