"The hotel is very good apart from the evening meal which was very poor. Not sure they was chef on the night ate at the hotel, as the food lack flavor. It also was incorrectly described on the menu. The rooms are good, the bed very comfortable and I love the shower in the bathroom."

"Conveniently situated for our journey and also for refuelling and a supermarket. Clean, comfortable room and a good shower enabled a peaceful night's sleep. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. A kettle was available on request to make a hot drink. The tasty and filling breakfast was reasonable priced too. We have used this hotel many times and it has never disappointed."

"A stale kitchen smell hung around the reception and permeated the building. No lights were on and it was like entering a dark cave. I normally like quaint old hotels but this was just down at heel and dispiriting. The photographer must be very clever as the reality was dismal. The sauna was an extra 55 Euros so we didnt use it and didn't eat there as the stale smell was so unappetising. We would not have stayed except that we had booked and paid in advance."
