"This is a beautiful property and our host was great. It is set in beautiful gardens which I wish we’d had more time to enjoy. My main criteria when choosing somewhere to stay is easy parking and a walk in shower. Only issue was that I’d requested a room with a shower as I find a bathtub difficult. "We had a wonderful stay at the gite for over 2 weeks. It was the perfect place to visit the ehole of west Normandy includung Bayeux. It is close to the sea and to the village of Urville, where the local supermarket Utile had everyting you need and has great opening hours. The gite itself is cosy and the fact that it is near the castke with great gardens is an absolute plus. "Excellent place for a week with the family. Facilities good. We all loved the jacuzzi. Off road parking and really convenient location for visits to the Normandy beaches, Mont St Michel, Granville etc Lovely beach and dune walks locally and reasonably close to good supermarkets. Next time we'll remember that shops have different closure times to ours. Only downside was steepness of stairs but our senior was glad of the downstairs bedoom"
