Wissant is 20 minutes from the Channel Tunnel on beautiful bay. We went off season, so nice and quiet . Good base to explore or just to have a relaxing time doing nothing!"

"Lovely location with a great view of the sea from the bedroom and lounge. The place was perfect for the 4 of us and the kids loved the bunks. The kitchen is quite tiny but serviceable. We were walkable to the beach and along a nice path at the bottom of the house which takes you into the town. We will be back!"

However, there was a place to stop and drop off luggage. Unit is on main floor so no stairs to carry everything up. Beds were comfy and clean. Owners were very accommodating regarding check-in despite us not knowing exactly when we would be there. (We gave them about an hours notice and they met us there...

"Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral und trotzdem ist es ruhig. Man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen. Die Zimmer waren wie abgebildet und schön eingerichtet. Abzug gibt es für die Sauberkeit in der Küche. Herd und Backofen waren verkrustet, Besteck und Geschirr teilweise nicht sauber. Das lag wohl an der Funktionsfähigkeit der Spülmaschine, auch diese müsste mal gewartet werden (entkalken, klarspüler etc. nachfüllen). Deshalb gibts insgesamt nur 4 Sterne."

"Zunächst war keine aktuelle, gültige Telefonnummer hinterlegt. Durch Zufall war ein sehr freundlicher Nachbar im Haus der uns helfen konnte und uns das Appartement öffnete. Das Bad war oberflächlich gereinigt, die Schubladen waren stark verschmutzt, sodass wir sie nicht nutzen konnten. Die Küche : eine defekte Kaffeemaschine mit offener Stromleitung, defekte Bratpfanne, eine sehr einfache Ausstattung komplett verschmutzt und verstaubt. Für die Mikrowelle /Backofen gab es keine Gebrauchsanweisung...
