A few updates probably required but otherwise a hugely enjoyable and memorable experience enjoyed by us all. "Swimming" in the outdoor pool every morning was a great way to wake up; lovely quiet lanes from the house allowing us to explore on bikes - Chateauneuf du Pape and Pont du Gard within round trip distance. "We spent a lovely week in villa Alexandrine, everything was as described and very clean throughout. The aircon in the upper bedrooms was very welcome during the hot spell. "positiv: host is very kind view is exceptionnel (straight view of the mont ventoux) no direct neighbour quiet neighbourhood great pool 11m long House outside looks like on the pictures. negativ: more than 5min walk to get to the center of Vaison-la-Romaine beds are not very comfortable ( mattress maybe too old?) air conditioning is only one unit! Not enough to keep the temperature pleasant. Above all when there are 40+ degrees…even at 30+ the air conditioning had some problems to cool down....

"We would have given five stars for this beautiful apartment but we found the lack of Information very stressful. We couldn't find out how to access the key and communication was very fraught. The website check in time was 4 but Marilyne eventually said 12 which was impossible because of our flight time. However, getting in was fine in the end and Marilyne was very friendly. We'd very much like to return to her well-equipped and attractively furnished property."

"A fantastic property!! The house was well equipped, well presented and very clean. The property felt very private with it’s own excellent pool and driveway. Phillipe, the owner, lives behind the house and we thought he was brilliant! Helpful, friendly, informative but in no way intrusive. The house is perfectly situated. "Absolutely loved this place. Completely isolated, so peaceful and quiet. Loved the large jacuzzi/pool, ideal for cooling down from the summer heat. Great location with fabulous views.
