"We received such a warm welcome from our hosts, for which nothing was too much trouble. Matthieu is a great cook and treated us to a wonderful table d'hôte dinner as well as delicious breakfasts. Our room was very well appointed - modern, comfortable and in keeping with the country setting. Would thoroughly recommend this as a great place to stay for couples and families alike"

"If you are looking for an experience, the Priory does not disappoint. The only room on the property for guests has ties to the Romans from the year 1070. The church itself is decommissioned, but continues to host concerts. Being from the United States, opportunities to be surrounded by such history do not exist. "This is such a beautiful home. It is located in a quiet area close to the center of Poitiers. The house is very large, so there was plenty of room for us to spread out. Phillipe is such a wonderful host. He was so incredibly kind and generous with his time. He drove all the way from Paris to meet us.
