"The hotel is great the room was quiet with windows soundproof and bathroom renovated, but because it is the first hotel of the city (according to staff) and being an original construction from hundred years ago our room was not very accessible, after tak the elevator, needed to take an spiral star to arrive in the room, other than that a perfect hotel."

"This hotel was away from the busy commercial area, so it was very quiet. Amboise is a beautiful city, lots to do, lively city center. We honestly weren't in the hotel room very much, just to sleep. It was everything we needed on our visit to Amboise."

Beginning with "Greg" (best we Texans could do pronouncing this nice young man's name) who greeted us and parked our van and got us dinner reservations in the on-site Restautant and escorted us to our lovely rooms. We felt like we were in an ancient chateau with all of the modern comforts. I guess we were! Walking distance to everything in the charming town of Amboise. Our group of five declared this our favorite place is a two-week French road trip. We would all go back and stay a month if we could. "
