"What a lovely little hotel, in the middle of a very wonderful city. The staff were so wonderful, and I found the hotel very comfortable. I would add the disclaimer that I utilized my hard-earned Spanish skills to check-in, but the staff could clearly speak English. I just think Leon is better to unlock if you speak moderate Spanish."

Also, its 7-9 minutes from the Leon bus depot, I was headed to Madrid solo after hiking for R&R. I rang the bell, jumped on the elevator to the second floor, followed the signs to counter at the far end where a woman gave me keys to my pre-paid room, the front door, and the hallway doors. "Very good place to stay in the centre of Leon. We had a lovely room in a building opposite the hostal. Four rooms with two bathrooms, kitchen and lounge. Flat screen TV, bright and airy bedroom. Lots of extras in the kitchen for use, ie eggs, bottled water. Very nice lady Mariflor who looked after us. Would definitely recommend staying there. "
