Studio Flat In Quiet Village Between Ludlow And Leominster

Studio flat on first floor of 17th century cider barn. Situated on a smallholding with horses, sheep, chickens and ducks. Approached by outside steps and with a small garden area outside. Free wifi. The flat sleeps 2 in an antique brass bed with a very comfortable mattress. It has a spacious shower room, a well equipped galley kitchen with a round dining table and a sitting room with a TV and DVD player and an electric wood burning effect stove. The flat has central heating and additional electric heating as required.
Outside is a small private sitting area which gets the sun all day.

The flat is in Bircher a hamlet in rural Herefordshire, situated between Leominster with its antique shops and the beautiful town of Ludlow. There are beautiful views and miles of countryside walking, cycling or riding from the property. The village of Yarpole with its prize winning shop in a church is a 20 minute walk away across fields.

There are several National Trust properties nearby and the historical area of Ironbridge with its museums is about a 40 minute drive away.

Property fine though bathroom bin not been emptied, the owners two daschunds below us did not stop yapping and so we cut our stay short and came home a day early. NOT A PEACEFUL GETAWAY.

A very different short stay
This property is beautifully presented. It is so different to any place I have ever stayed at before, it was so peaceful and tranquil but was equipped with everything necessary to be comfortable and functional. The property owners were so pleasant and helpful. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

6/10 Okay

cider barn
Myself and my partner spent a week at Cider Barn studio apartment and I must say that the apartment itself is lovely. It is small but very quaint, with a lot of character. The only complaint we have with the apartment itself is that there is no oven as advertised on the website. From the description of the apartment it is not made clear that the apartment is part of and adjoined to the owners residence so there is a limited sense of privacy. Although the website states pets are welcome, unfortunately this welcome wasn't extended by the owners noisy pair of terriers, who proved to be a real nuisance. As well as being noisy the dogs carried out quite a nasty attack on our dog whilst I walked him to our car on the lead. This was very stressful and soured the experience somewhat. One of their dogs was fond of spending time on step outside our front door so this caused a problem whenever we wanted to leave with our dog. Although we enjoyed our stay we would not have chosen to stay at this apartment if we had known the proximity of the owners residence and the presence of their noisy terriers. Yours sincerely Neill Burke
