About the property
Estate Lodge combines two cottages and is set within a stunning estate in rural Herefordshire. Sleeping up to 14 guests (six at The Byre and eight at Steward's Cottage), it's ideal for groups of family and friends looking for luxurious accommodation, beautiful outdoor space and an idyllic setting. With an indoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and two BBQs, this is the perfect place for relaxing, socialising and enjoying the surrounding countryside.
The space
Estate Lodge comprises two cottages, The Byre and Steward's Cottage. The finish is of the highest standard throughout and there are multiple car parking spaces at the property.
The Byre

The Byre is a newly built cottage with a private pool and has been designed to offer a high level of comfort. On the ground floor, there is a large open-plan kitchen/dining/living area with flagstone flooring that offers a hint of rustic, farmhouse charm. The kitchen is well equipped with quality fitted units and Smeg appliances, while the dining table seats six guests. The living area is tastefully furnished with large leather sofas, oak furniture and a log-burning stove.
There is a ground-floor bathroom with a shower, while the three bedrooms each have a king-size bed and an en-suite.
There is also a private indoor heated swimming pool along with bi-fold doors opening out onto the enclosed garden which features sun loungers and a BBQ.
Steward's Cottage

Steward's Cottage is an attractive brick-built cottage that features a hot tub. On the ground floor, there is a fully fitted kitchen/dining area with porcelain tiled floors, quality fitted units, an island, integrated appliances and a dining table with seating for eight guests. In the lounge, there's comfy sofa seating, a cosy wood burner and a TV.
Two of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor. The master has a super-king-size bed, a Smart TV and ample wardrobe and drawer space. The double room has a Smart TV, ample wardrobe and drawer space and a luxury fitted en-suite comprising a bath with an overhead shower.
On the first floor, there are two more standard double bedrooms both with a zip-link bed (that can become two singles if preferred) and a Smart TV. One room has an en-suite wet room with walk-in shower, while the other room has access to the main bathroom comprising a bath with an overhead shower.
Outside, there is an enclosed garden with a hot tub and sauna, while the front of the cottage overlooks a small pond.
Guest access
The property is accessed via a private entrance and a member of the estate staff will be on hand to meet and greet guests on arrival. We request that you call 15 minutes prior to arrival and you will be met at the gates.
Sustainability
Both cottages benefit from solar PV panels and are heated by a biomass central heating system.
We plant a tree for every booking we make to help offset some of the carbon emissions generated by our stays.

Hot tub: As the hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled after each booking, we cannot guarantee that your hot tub will be at its optimal operating temperature upon arrival.
Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.
Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £500 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.
House rules
