"When we try to check out they made us pay for "bed sheets" I take as a trick, tell custmora a price then you suprise them with tricks to have them pay again!! Also the reception is always closed and most if them dont speak English! Got fooled by the pictures."

"Very old, quaint chalet full of character. Definitely not suited to elderly people and small children. We will certainly return as there are great backcountry ski routes behind the house, alpine skiing nearby as well as cross country. The driveway is plowed but with heavy snows you will need chains to go and down it."

"Schönes Maienssäs in sehr ruhiger Lage! Sehr schlicht und gemütlich eingerichtet! Wir sind in diversen Unterkünften schon gewesen.. diese hat wirklich alles was man in der z.b in der Küche benötigt. Es fehlte an nichts.. Diverse Spielsachen schon vorhanden.. unser kleiner hatte wirklich Freude daran. 4x4 sollte schon sein.. sonst wird es etwas Tricki zum hochkommen.. "Family of 5, with 3 kids between 5 and 11 yrs, we wanted a change from a hotel for our annual skiing holiday. This home is perfectly equipped for a comfortable week, and very well located for a short walk to Bolgen for ski lessons and Jackobshorn access. Space, comfort and style made this a rather special rental. We took the wellness option, and a real highlight was having a jacuzzi with a mountain sunset view at the end of every day. Wonderful, we will return."

"The unit was nice and functional but the description as "ski in/out" is not realistic. It was approximately a 500 meter walk up hill to the ski trail with an altitude increase of about10 meters. Going home the trip was downhill which was a little better but still not what one would consider "ski in/out". The view of the valley below was nice. There was a problem with the plumbing but the owner worked with us to get it resolved as quickly as he could. It was a nice quiet location."

"This hotel was one of the best I have stayed in. The receptionist (blonde lady) spoke perfect English and was very helpful and friendly. The pool was open all day to 9pm, with a special child friendly time from 5-7 which my child adored, and it was very clean and modern. We parked in the garage underneath the hotel (for a fee) which you need your room card to gain access. This was safe and secure. Breakfast was from 8am until 10am and had a good range of items available. However please be warned...

"The shower was a bit uncomfortable. The internet was not all the time and in all the apartment strong enough. I suggest to add some heat resistant gloves in the kitchen. We had a wonderful stay and will come back for sure."
