"We stayed at the larger gite which was charming and nicely decorated. Marie and Christian were great and helpful with suggestions re activities and restaurants. The gite is on a country road but traffic is light and we did not have an issue with noise. We will happily return again in the future."

"A fabulous, quirky house spread over many levels with all the mod cons ensured a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Tennis court and swimming pool meant the teenagers were entertained and happy, whilst being in the heart of the Ardeche for river swimming and canoeing! We loved our stay and meeting our lovely, friendly and helpful host."

"The property was damp and not clean to sleep in with the children’s bed being covered in dust when weight was put onto it. Furniture in the bedroom was green with mold spores. We only stayed a night as we arrived late even though we had booked for four as the smell of damp was cloying and overwhelming and the accommodation frankly unihabitable. The owner is very kind and welcoming and allowed us to charge our Tesla EV in her garage, which made a big difference as we didn’t need to factor in stops to charge on day trips. Despite the pool not being heated, the hot weather meant the pool was warm enough after the initial plunge. Our kids spent hours in the pool. "This old building has been converted to an attractive and comfortable gite, with excellent views from the garden. It's a long way up the hill so quite cool. Hard to find the right building as we did not have adequate directions. The giveaway is the owner's name on the cover for the electricity meter on the wall alongside the road. Cleaning, bedlinen and towels are extra."
