5 Star Stay!
We had a great stay at this property. The views were beautiful and the cabin itself is comfortable, modern and well-stocked! This is one of the cleanest properties we have ever stayed in and the owners clearly thought of every detail. Blowing Rock is only a few minutes away. We hope to stay here again soon.

Blowing Rock Getaway
This property was perfectly located to enjoy the mountain scenery and close enough to Blowing Rock and Boone to enjoy all they offer. Panoramic views from its mountain location were breathtaking. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable.

Amazing Views
The Elkhorn cabin was perfect. The location was very convenient to hiking, exploring Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin itself was the perfect size for two couples. The bedrooms with attached bathrooms were very spacious. The open kitchen, dining and living room was very appealing as well. The entire inside of the cabin overlooked the beautiful mountains. The outside wrap around deck was perfect and the fire pit was an added bonus. We will definitely stay here again.

Amazing Views and Location!!
This was my first time visiting Blowing Rock and this property was amazing!! Awesome location and views for days. Everything was super comfortable, very clean and cozy!! It was perfect for me and my niece. Beautiful property and Lisa was great to work with. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. I definitely will be back.

Amazing property
Lovely updated cabin on a little price of heaven property. Amazing views! We spent most of our time outside on the deck , porch, and fire pit area. Mountain views were mesmerizing! We enjoyed delicious dinners at the Speckled Trout and Gamekeeper restaurants. Hiked the trail to Hebron falls. Drove the Blueridge parkway to see more of the Blueridge Mountains.

Priceless Views!
This cottage is everything it promises to be. Its clean, more than well equipped, tastefully decorated, cozy, charming and peaceful. The view is like no other, it goes out as far as the eye can see. We didn't want to leave at check out time and we will be back.

Great cabin. Incredible view!
We have stayed in a LOT of mountain cabins with nice views, but the southern view from this cabin was possibly the best we ever had. Not a bad view to the north either. Cabin was nice, appeared to have been built fairly recently, and very weather-tight. Communications with host were always positive. Cabin is perched on a ridgeline with drop-offs on both sides. Spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the view. And only about 3 miles from town.

Didn’t want to leave...
We have been staying in cabins in western North Carolina for ten years. This one is far and away our favorite. The cabin is beautiful, but the view...the view is truly breathtaking! Can’t wait to return! If you have a chance to stay at this cabin, do it. You won’t regret it!!

Fantastic experience!
Loved everything about this place -- the view/location and the cabin itself. Comfortable places to sit, good beds, lovely deck, good kitchen. Will definitely be back. A couple things to note: internet is a little slow, and there is one other cottage that is visible from the house. Neither bothered us, both were a little surprise.

Serenity in Blowing Rock NC
Can't say enough about our experience at Elk Ridge Cottage in Blowing Rock. Advance information prior to our stay was accurate & informative. When we arrived, the cabin was spotless. we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay including complimentary firewood for the inside woodstove and outdoor fire pit - (which is unusual). The view from the cabin was expansive and breathtaking which provided endless serenity during our stay. the host was helpful and responsive. Being close to Rolling Rock allowed us to enjoy the small town vibe with plenty of things to see and excellent local restaurants. Definitely recommend this cabin and will definitely be back,

The owner of this property was always available and helpful. The house was beautiful with very comfortable furnishings. The beds were really great. The view was the best part. It was breathtaking. It was awesome from both porches. We loved the grill and the fire pit. The road to the property is very steep and is part gravel but that is what makes the view. We will definitely stay here again

You will not be disappointed with this place. Everything is top notch regarding the house itself. The views are amazing. Lisa the property manager is always super responsive if you need anything or have questions. The gravel road is a little scary at first especially immediately following a rain storm. But they do a great job raking out the ruts as soon as possible.

Clean and comfortable!
The view is great! Great deck and outside area - we just didn't get to use it because of the weather. Furniture and beds are very comfortable. We didn't cook but there seems to be an ample supply of kitchen utensils. The only negative is the drive up to the cabin - it is steep and curvy but I guess that's the norm for the mountains. Owner was very quick to respond when we had questions prior to our stay. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely come back again if we only need two bedrooms.

Great cottage with a fantastic view!
This was a great stay for a long November weekend in Blowing Rock. My husband and I and our two four-legged kids booked this cottage. It was very clean and well-appointed....very clean and comfortable beds, sheets, towels, nice kitchen and comfortable furniture. It was just a short drive to Main Street in down-town Blowing Rock. There was some construction on Highway 321, looks like they are widening the road, but the house is high enough up the mountain the construction noise couldn't be heard...and it's only temporary. Would love to stay here again when the weather is warmer to take better advantage of the wonderful wrap-around deck! We made up for it by getting to use the wood stove this time around...very comfortable stay!

Great Cottage! Great Location! Great Price!
There’s not enough space for me to tell everyone how much love we have for this cottage. From the location to the cleanliness to the well stocked “extras” that were available in the cottage. The beds are comfortable and clean. The furniture is like new and well kept. The wood burning stove sets the tone for a cozy day/night in the cottage. The views - WOW! Sunsets and the sunrises, breathtaking! There’s a fire pit is fun for all. The cottage decor and personal touches made the stay all the more pleasant. The location is close to anything that you need or may have forgotten. The cottage is right off of Hwy 321. The drive up to the cottage is a bit steep but easily accessed. Parking is convenient being so close to the steps up to the front porch. Also, bringing our two small dogs was a huge plus since they’re a big part of our family. Kudos the the owners and property management. Thank you for offering a great home away from home. We will most certainly be back to reserve this property or another property you offer!

Wonderful Get-Away Week
This property is absolutely as advertised. Very clean and stocked with all we needed. Great town and great hikes in Moses Cone Memorial Park. We will definitely return to Blowing Rock and, when we do, we will stay at the Elkridge Cottages again.
