I was in Tennessee for (what was supposed to be) 3 weeks for a work project and just needed a simple, overall clean, place to stay that had onsite laundry facilities and a real kitchen rather than just a hotel room. I looked closely at the listing as well as other reviews, so i felt like i knew what to expect. When i arrived, check in was easy, and i was satisfied with my decision.(still am overall) the house is clean overall, but could stand to have someone go through and do a deep cleaning to include things like cleaning the furnace filter grill in the living room, the exhaust fan in the bathroom, and wiping out the insides of cupboards and drawers. None of which are TERRIBLE, but but would make a big improvement on when it comes to first impressions. It is an old home, so be prepared for the things that come with that , like floors that arent level, doors that are drafty, and things of that sort. My biggest concern as an electrician is that I see quite a few things that arent up to building code. There are only 2 outlets in the kitchen, and they arent GFCI protected, the one bedroom has no outlets in or on the walls, and there is an extension cord ran from the washer outlet across the floor to the one bedroom, and then another cord ran from that under a rug to the wifi router. There is no outlet in the bathroom, so if you need to use a hair drier youll need to bring a drop cord with you. Overall, good stay, i needed to extend my stay by a week, but it wasnt available.
