Neighbourhood
Lemon Tree Passage is a leafy, tranquil, and attractive township.
A particularly enjoyable thing to do in Lemon Tree Passage is inspect the native flora reserve in Helen Ave, the diversity of Australian plant life is spectacular. Another two walks - the Mangrove Board Walk and the Lilli Pilli Walk - are located at the tip of the peninsula in Koala Park.
Guarding the point nudged by Tilligerry Creek as it spills into Port Stephens, Lemon Tree Passage looks out across a narrow passage to Bulls Island.
The town offers a variety of gentle, coastal walking trails and a central boat ramp provides direct access to the port's mainstream. Lemon Tree Passage is one of the prime secluded spots on the southern shore of a waterway which is now firmly established among the finest aquatic playgrounds on Australia's east coast.
Transit
Getting around is easy but it is best to travel with a car around.
