"I was very disappointed with my stay. I have stayed here alone through my company before with no issues and this was a trip for vacation. I am 19 and was checking in with no issues. Once the manager walked by and saw how young I looked, she tried to block my stay and said I had to be 21 to be able to check in. "Great location in the River Walk! Very pretty hotel hotel especially during holiday season. Only issues were the valet parking is $40-$50 per day and is a nightmare dropping off or requesting your vehicle. Other issue was the rooms with so called queen sized beds seem much smaller more like double sized not queen.. overall however the service was very good, rooms nicely appointed but lack storage and are a bit small, we had 4 in one room and it was overwhelming. "

"Fantastic suite for the price. Nice, convenient location to the riverwalk. About a 5-minute walk to the river cruise, even less to the Western museum. Beautiful old building with a decent breakfast. Only downside is the cost of overnight parking…$50 for valet service; never were given any other options. "

"The service and staff were amazing. Room was acceptable but need cleaning and attention to areas not obvious like under headbourd. Accumulation of hair and debris that would not normally be guven attention. Very acceptable stay otherwise "

"We’ve been coming for years and always very pleased. There are a few basics missing in the kitchen (dry measuring cups) and knives are not sharp. Also, the dining room chairs really need the plastic tips on the legs so they don’t screech across the floor."
