"A lovely, well-equipped house in a stunning location with its own fabulous garden. Brilliant for our family group of 10. Lots to do locally. The gem museum, gem mine, Celtic settlement were great trips and the open-air swimming pool in Rhaunen was much enjoyed. We visited Herrstein twice! Klaus and Anna were really helpful hosts. Highly recommended."

"Awesome surroundings and plenty of hikes in real nature right from the doorstep. Also for our kids it was a joy with a 15 minute drive you are at a craterlake that offers awesome swimming with jumping boards and a water slide. Really a wonderfull gem.."

"Die Villa strahlt eine Atmosphäre von „veraltet“ aus. Es ist geräumig, wenn Sie mit 6 statt mit 10 Personen dort übernachten. Die Küche verfügt über ausreichend Geräte und Geschirr/Besteck etc. Schön ist, dass es eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner gibt. Bei der genannten Kombi-Mikrowelle handelt es sich um eine normale Mikrowelle. Es gibt zwei Kühlschränke mit 1 großem Gefrierfach. Die Matratzen mancher Betten müssten unbedingt ausgetauscht werden.
