Really spacious room, comes with many amenities. Private gated parking is a bit tight, but no issue there at all. Needed help with entering the hotel, but called staff and sorted it within seconds. Would definitely recommend 🙏

Wonderful stay. The room was as advertised; perfectly clean and tidy, short distance from the station, easy to locate keys for access. We were not expecting such a high standard for the low price, we would have liked to stay longer!

A Room in the City
Amazing stay at The City Rooms. This hotel is centrally located and fabulous if you're looking to stay in Leicester city centre. There is free parking available, which we used, and it really couldn't have been easier. The room is absolutely huge, shame it didn't have a super king size bed, this is what I'm used to at home, as there is ample space to accommodate one. The bathroom was massive and very clean. It was beautiful to wake up to sunshine coming through the sash windows. Will definitely stay again 💯❤️

The property was lovely. The room was very spacious including the bathroom. The bath was amazing! The only issue was that the tv signal was very bad, even on the apps. It was reported to staff who said that maintenance would call but no-one came to fix it! Could possibly do with a new mattress as the right side was dipped. Apart from that it was a lovely place.

Old building, spacious rooms, very cold in winter and during frost, heating not enough, otherwise clean sheets and room, self checkin, parking available in city center with secured gates, overall good stay, I would consider it again bit not during winter!

Clean, basic accommodation
The room was nice and clean and was pretty spacious with plenty of daylight. The location is very central so the included parking is essential. I'd describe this as basic accommodation as it's a wedding venue. When there is no event they let out the rooms but with no staff on site or any of the usual hotel facilities. Entry instructions are emailed the day before your stay - beware Google mail send this to spam. Access to the rooms is up several flights of steep stairs so unsuitable for those who struggle with this.

Unable to find the car park for free parking. Went round and round Leicester but to no avail. Therefore we had to pay for parking some distance from the site which caused us issues as we both have issues walking

It was unusual staying in an unmanned property as there are no staff on site and no other guests staying so we had the whole building to ourselves. The main areas are more old-fashioned but the rooms are modern, clean and well equipped. The shower was fab! However, there were a few stains on the chair and bed frame that could have done with some attention. Great location for City Centre and good value. If you’re a light sleeper, like me, the clock tower opposite does chime regularly throughout the night so the earplugs provided were needed! Would stay again.
