At Grant Serene, we strive for all our Guests to enjoy a 5-star experience from start to finish.

We accept instant bookings. We will confirm your reservation details and e-mail the Grant Serene Agreement for you to read, complete, initial and e-sign prior to your stay. A copy of the Grant Serene Agreement is available upon request before making a reservation.

We are a dog friendly home for small to medium size dog(s) less than 50 lbs. Please send us an inquiry with your dog's details (name, size, breed, if you plan to have more than one, and a picture), for pre-approval before making your reservation. Exceptions for dogs over 50 lbs. may be made on a case-by-case basis.

Upon dog approval, a $150.00 dog fee, per dog, per stay, shall be added to your reservation. The Pet Addendum shall be completed and signed. A copy of the Pet Addendum is available upon request before making a reservation.

Please send us an inquiry if you will have one or more Service Animal(s) on the property. The Service Animal Addendum shall be completed and signed. A copy of the Service Animal Addendum is available upon request before making an instant booking.

We are private owners who self-manage the property. We are easily accessible, DAY or NIGHT, by phone, text, e-mail, or VRBO messaging.

We keep pricing and fees simple and included on your reservation for up to the maximum occupancy of 6 people. Note - children ages 0 to 17 are counted as a person for occupancy purposes.

VRBO payments can be divided into 3 installments:
35% due at the time of booking
35% due 60 days before check-in
30% due 30 days before check-in.

We offer contactless check-in and check-out. Our Guests choose their own access code to use the ADT Security system (optional) and for the front door and garage door keyless entry. Guests may check-in any time AFTER 4:00 PM and check-out any time BEFORE 10:00 AM.

We pride ourselves on a clean and well-maintained home. Grant Serene has routine maintenance services performed weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually. Such as lawn care, pool service, salt delivery, pest control, A/C & pool heater maintenance, etc.

We provide a dog friendly environment. Your furry friend will enjoy using the medium size doggy door to enter the fenced-in backyard from the back lanai and pool enclosure or taking long walks on a leash within our rural neighborhood.

Reasons GRANT SERENE may NOT be a Good Fit

We are a 100% non-smoking property. There is No Smoking permitted anywhere on the property, including the sidewalk, the enclosed front porch, driveway, garage, inside the home, back lanai, pool enclosure, the front or back yards. This No Smoking policy includes all forms of smoking (e.g. marijuana, cigarettes, cigars, vaping, etc.). Smoking is only permitted off property at the street.

NO events, NO parties, NO large gatherings permitted.

Occupancy shall not exceed the maximum of 6 people, including children ages 0-17 years old, and/or the maximum number of vehicles of 3. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis. If your vacation plans includes excceeding the maximum occupancy (6) or the maximum number of vehicles (3), please send us an inquiry before making your reservation.

Florida's saltwater environment may cause hybrid or electric vehicle batteries to spontaneously catch on fire. Therefore, no electric vehicles may park inside the garage or near the house.

No large vehicles, trucks or SUVs may park inside the garage. We have experienced too many Guests hitting our garage wall(s) while attempting to park their large vehicle, truck or SUV inside the garage.

Walk through the sliding glass doors to the back lanai. The lanai is 25’ x 9-1/2’, UV protected, screened enclosure, providing additional protection from the sun and bugs. There is an outdoor kitchen equipped with a mini fridge, pizza maker, BBQ grill and sink. Two ceiling fans and a large dining table for 6 make evening meals a breeze. There is a smaller table for 4 that children will enjoy using. No need to go inside the house to use the bathroom, there is a convenient, air-conditioned, half bathroom on the back lanai. In the cool evenings relax in the heated hot tub.

Step outside the back lanai and enter the 54’ x 34’, UV protected, screen enclosure and you will find a breathtaking, brand new (2023), 32’ x 15’, geometric, custom built, saltwater, swimming pool. The pool depth is 3'6" at the shallow end that slopes down to a pool depth of 5'6" at the deep end. It is electric heated to take the chill out when the weather is cooler. Privacy WILL surround the pool enclosure by Areca palm trees and calusa bushes when they grow and mature. A pool barrier fence encloses the pool for the safety of children. At the deep end of the pool (5' 6"), an inviting 7’ x 10’ sun shelf awaits you to soak up the Florida sun sitting on the ledge chairs in 6 inches of water. Here you can listen to the soothing sounds of the water bubbler / fountain. The built in pool bench provides additional seating to gather family and friends around the sun shelf.

Before or after swimming enjoy a soothing outdoor rainfall shower from head to toe. From dusk to dawn the lanai lights will illuminate the pool area creating a serene ambience. You can control the lanai lights with a remote to change colors, dim the lights, or turn them off for a restful night’s sleep. Experience the comfort of polywood loungers and chairs in the back lanai and around the pool. Bring your night swimming to life with two (2) pool LED lights and one (1) LED light inside the bubbler on the sundeck.

ADT Security protects Grant Serene and its Guests. There is exterior only, audio/video, motion-activated, security cameras viewing the street, sidewalk, enclosed front porch (doorbell), driveway, inside the garage, each side of the house, and pool area. Each security camera or viewable area is identified with a security sticker, label or sign. The security cameras are not monitored 24 hours a day. We may view recorded video clips when needed or view the security cameras live when notifications are received. But, for our Guest’s privacy the security cameras notifications are turned off during their stay.

Grant Serene has an Ecobee smart thermostat; a smart thermostat that is both energy efficient and helps to keep you comfortable. Ecobee communicates with its Smart room sensors, windows or door sensors. Ecobee Smart room sensors are located in the living room, kitchen, and each bedroom. Ecobee will automatically adjust the temperature based on home activity and humidity levels. Ecobee allows our Guests to adjust the temperature within a specified range. The temperature range may be restricted when the Florida temperatures are extremely hot to avoid the A/C from freezing. The Ecobee thermostat is so smart that it will turn the A/C off when a window or door is left open and turn the A/C back on when all windows and doors are closed.

StarLink Satellite high-speed Internet / Wi-Fi is available to connect your personal devices.

There is an Amazon Echo Dot (Alexa) in the living room that is used to announce / chime when someone is at the sidewalk / outside the front porch or pushes the Blink video doorbell. This doorbell is in place in case the front porch screen door is locked. Our Guests have the ability to unplug the Amazon Echo Dot (Alexa) if they choose.

The Living Room has a 75” Samsung Smart TV, with DISH Network satellite TV service and 3.1 Polk surround sound system. Bluetooth speakers allow you to connect your own phone / media devices to listen to music when you are not watching TV. The Fireplace media center provides a romantic setting when the flames are turned on or supply heat on those chilly Florida nights. The power recliner has a built-in USB to power up your devices, two cup holders to hold your favorite beverage, and push buttons to put your feet up. Lie on the modern sectional and push the ottoman in close for instant snuggle time.

The Kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. It is furnished with everyday essentials such as a large cup coffee maker, single serve Keurig, tea kettle, toaster, waffle maker, dishes, slow cooker, bakeware, and other cookware. Eat at the breakfast bar on swivel bar stools or at the large dining room table for 6 people.

Bedroom #1 and Bedroom #2 each have a Queen size bed, a nightstand, dresser, and a large closet. Enjoy TV in bed with the 58” Samsung Smart TV and DISH network.

The Guest bathroom has a single vanity, storage, toilet, and a tiled shower complete with a rainfall shower head and separate shower wand.

The Master bedroom has a King size bed, two nightstands, a desk and chair, and a large walk-in closet. Enjoy TV in bed with the 65” Samsung Smart TV and DISH network.

The Master Bathroom has a double vanity, an abundance of custom storage drawers, a private toilet, and a large, walk-in tiled shower with a rainfall shower head and separate shower wand.
