"We stayed in a huge corner room that was a fun mix of historic (exposed stone) and designer (multicolored marble bathroom), and we could see the Duomo’s campanile from our window. Staff was exceptional— helpful, responsive, and friendly, Location was great — Uffizi, the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, etc. were easily walkable, and restaurants and shopping opportunities abound. "The hotel was undergoing renovation. Rooms are very small and the bolt on the door was not working (which cannot even be raised when you are a solo traveler). The breakfast staff were a bit rude, for instance trying to have me relocate where I was seated for breakfast because I was close to where the staff were talking to each other. The room was clean and in a convenient location. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and brought me tea when I was under the weather. "

"After an eight-day, April stay, we did not want to leave. Surrounded by fields of rolling green hills, this house was the perfect place to relax on the patio with glasses of wine and plates of pasta. Sonia and Rosario were excellent hosts and their shop (on the premises) was filled with their company’s pasta as well as sweet goodies like biscotti. Highly recommend!"
