"Hotel staff reached out a few days before my check-in for my anticipated arrival time. The check-in was busy (two other groups arriving within 5 minutes), but they had adequate staff to provide us all prompt service which had been an issue with some prior hotel/car bookings. I’m conversational w/Italian but the host also spoke excellent English. While escorting me to my room, the host also made note of the time change that evening which I thought was very considerate where not all countries use...

"Did not realize that the shared bathroom was for all rooms in the hotel not just two adjoining rooms. Quite a hike up the the floor the hotel is located on. "Budget hotel 25 mins from station and 0mins from city centre. Largely unmanned during the day we had to contact the hotel staff to arrange entry. The rooms were basic but clean and with working air conditioning. Breakfast was a simple but comprehensive continental buffet breakfast which the owner kept replenishing. On our final day we needed to depart at 7:30 which was the appointed time for breakfast to start. They assisted in allowing us to take breakfast items with us. The B&B is at the top...
