"Very old but beautiful place, a little scary because it is so old, clean, because the furniture is so old and dry it is not cofy . Friendly staff. Good breakfast but nothing exceptional. Worth the price. The only thing is if you have a lot of luggage or a very heavy suitcase do not choose the cella/room #1 suite because it has two large flights of stairs and the hotel obviously does not have an elevator. I recommend it to have an experience and not to stay for several days"

"Hotel staff reached out a few days before my check-in for my anticipated arrival time. The check-in was busy (two other groups arriving within 5 minutes), but they had adequate staff to provide us all prompt service which had been an issue with some prior hotel/car bookings. I’m conversational w/Italian but the host also spoke excellent English. While escorting me to my room, the host also made note of the time change that evening which I thought was very considerate where not all countries use...

"I wanted a simple clean place to sleep, close to Siena station, as I was arriving late evening. The key was left in the door for me, my room has everything I needed, clean, comfortable bed, shower, but best of all it was SUPER quiet, I slept very well. The owner communicated with WhatsApp, and even recommended places to eat, I had a fantastic pizza 🍕 only a 10 minute walk away. This is good, basic accomodation and does exactly what it says. Don't expect anything super fancy, not at these...
