Most Memorable Vacation
I can’t express enough how wonderful my host Tracy was at making sure I had everything I needed. I had the most relaxing and peaceful trip thanks to Tracy and the beautiful town of Leavenworth! I definitely plan to make this a regular vacation spot in the future.

This cabin is so cute and cozy! So peaceful with the sound of the river. Just perfect for our 10th anniversary. And we got to bring our dog with us. Tracy was super helpful with great communication.

Perfect get away location
There are no words to describe the beauty of the Trout Shack. Perfect and quaint, tucked away and private. We loved to use the hot tub in the evenings, all while listening to the river trickle by. We visited in late February, and the weather was amazing. Still snow everywhere, but not freezing cold. We got to meet Tracy and her dog, and talking with her felt like meeting with an old friend. We will most definitely be back! The cabin was well furnished with eveything we could have needed. Lastly, there is not an easier check-in and check-out process!!

A perfect weekend
We love the trout shack! We have stayed here before in the past and loved it. I was worried that we had built it up in our minds, but it was just as amazing this time around. There was a bit of communication confusion between booking with VRBO and the property management that needs to be ironed out, but that is such a small thing in an otherwise perfect weekend. Book the Trout Shack you won't be disappointed.

Birthday get away
Spent my husband’s 50 th birthday at the cabin ! Wow was I amazed the cabin is so cute and comfortable and the river is beautiful and peaceful we literally sat on the porch for 3 days and enjoyed each other, Cabin is fully stocked with everything you need and some more than other vacation rentals have , communication is great! Perfect getaway for 2 , there’s a larger home available on the property also We will definitely be back ! We even enjoyed a thunderstorm thru the valley during our visit and alls i gotta say is WOW

Awesome relaxing getaway
Trout shack was fabulous! Tracy is such a gracious and generous host! Truly she has thought of everything to provide for a comfortable stress free stay! Our pups also enjoyed the river and walking paths or just lounging by the cabin. We hope to be back soon! Thank you Tracy! What a great place ❤️

Perfect little get away cabin
The Trout Shack was a wonderful respite from the craziness of a weekend wedding we were attending in the area. It's "cozy", but plenty of space and perfect for a couple. We enjoyed sitting by the river and can imagine how wonderful it would be during other seasons as well (we were there in June). We didn't use it, but the kitchen was well equipped. Tracy even had good coffee and filtered water to go with the Keurig combination k-cup/coffee maker. I loved spending some time reading on the porch daybed. The mosquito netting around it was wonderful! One night it was cool enough to turn on the gas fire on the porch. Such a lovely touch. We would definitely stay here again and happily recommend it.

Even though there is another property rental directly behind this unit, it remains a very private setting. Quiet not withstanding the beautiful songs of the Wenatche river so close to the cabin. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped for preparing meals; the bed is very comfortable and the uniqueness of this historical cabin is very warm and inviting. the hot tub was a plus and the robes provided were appreciated. Dont plan to bring your fishing pole as i did, as fishing is not permitted in this area of the river. also, if you have dogs, do know that there is no secure place for them to run about and they must be on leash during your stay. check-in was straight forward.

Summer Family Get Away
Great addition to have with the main cabin on the property. This would also be a nice cabin to have a romantic getaway. We rotated from the main cabin to this cabin to have some peace & quite from the family when needed. Great place for quite time.

amazing spot right on the river
The covered front porch was perfect for hanging out and watching the river in front of you. Has a little propane fire pit for the chilling nights. Rustic but very comfortable and clean interior has everything you need to cook and enjoy your meals. Outdoor hot tub was great after a day of hiking. Property feels very private with no cabins too close.

Perfect small cabin weekend paradise for the two of us. We were surprised by all the "extras" not listed; free wood for the outdoor fireplace including starter kindling and lighter, shampoos and soaps (unusual extra for a cabin), all kitchen utinsels and cookware (including some flour, basic seasonings, and cooking oil), even an outdoor gas grill and gas fireplace on the deck. This cabin really was a perfect, worry free, weekend getaway! We will definitely be returning.

Cozy & Perfect
We visited in April and are obsessed with this cabin! It's the perfect, coziest rustic little cabin; in addition to its classic charm, it is super clean and has all the amenities you could want (and a few luxuries like an amazing hot tub with plenty of room for two & a riverfront view!) I especially loved all the ways to get cozy and warm during the cold nights and mornings including gas fireplaces indoors and on the front porch as well as an excellent space heater that kept the inside deliciously toasty. While we enjoyed hiking nearby trails and picking up takeout from Leavenworth, the highlight of our trip was absolutely the time we spent at this cabin and the surrounding riverfront property. Check-in was no-contact and very easy. Our host, Tracy, was very responsive & accommodating and helped us figure out an issue we were having with the fireplace. Truly, the pictures do not do this place justice-I've been looking forward to this trip for a few months and even my high expectations were exceeded by Trout Shack. We definitely hope to stay here again!
