About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Alpine Lake Escape-Ice Fish, Hot Tub, Hike In, 4WD

Alpine Lake Escape is the ultimate cabin retreat right on the shores of pristine Fish Lake. Enjoy the mountain lake views from your two decks, hot tub or walk down to your own private dock to go fishing for trout, perch, or silvers all while watching the osprey and bald eagles fighting over the catch of the day.

This 2300 square ft. cabin sleeps 4 and has three levels. On the main floor, the fully stocked kitchen, eating nook, and spacious living room - with a fireplace and flat screen TV - all have gorgeous lake views. There are also two bedrooms on the main floor, one full and one queen sized, and a full bathroom. The large comfortable open loft has a bathroom with a shower, a king-sized bed, and a sitting area. The newly remodeled lower level has a wet bar, French doors, large windows, and cozy seating with spectacular lake views. The lower level also has a full-sized bed, with a foosball table, comfortable couch and a flat screen TV for DVDs or streaming movies from your own personal devices.

Enjoy the kayaks or paddle boat at the house or rent a boat just a few minutes away at the Cove. You can also bring your own boat, with access to the community boat launch just one block down. Small boats suitable for shallow water can dock at your own private dock; fish all day and tie it up until you are ready to take a relaxing evening sunset cruise.

When the sun goes down, barbecue your catch of the day and then sit around the fire pit while roasting marshmallows or soak in the hot tub while gazing up at a sky full of stars. During the spring, summer and fall months you will enjoy any of the local activities: fishing, biking, boating, white water rafting, tubing, horseback riding, ziplining, hiking, golfing, mushrooming, rock climbing, swimming, or head to Leavenworth to go shopping or to float the lazy Icicle River. In the winter, enjoy the many snowshoeing and cross-country ski trails around the cabin, ice fishing, or head to Stevens Pass - just 30 minutes door-to-door - to downhill ski

Our New Year Getaway
This was our second time at this house. It is perfect for our family. Plenty of room, easy to use wood stove and the view is awesome. The kids are downstairs and adults upstairs. Everything we need is there. We enjoy the amenities the area has to offer and the ice fishing is great. We will be back again for sure.

Late Summer Family Getaway
Our family enjoyed our 4 night stay at Fish Lake. While the lake was incredibly beautiful, quiet and peaceful, there was also a dense algae bloom which made for less enjoyable kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming experiences than we were hoping for. The cabin is large and spacious, well kept and appropriately well used. The cleaning between rentals seemed to be rushed and not as detailed as it could/should have been.

Great Place, the wide angle camera really makes it look bigger than it is.
We loved our stay and found everything very well equipped, clean, comfortable. It was just kind of amusing that the cabin in the end looks a lot different than the pictures mostly due to how HUGE it looks in the wide angle pictures, but it was still more than big enough and very comfortable. If you are wanting to swim you should know that Fish lake especially right around the dock of this cabin is covered in lots of water plants and not really good for swimming in, but Lake Wennatchee is so close it almost doesn't matter - the beach there is one of the best ever.

Amazing Views, Lovely Home
We had a wonderful visit overall. Property was clean, well appointed, and true to the listing. We were very pleasantly surprised to find two kayaks for our enjoyment. That was a nice plus. The only drawback I experienced was that the lake is not swimmable. At least, it wasn't when we were there in August. The algae was pretty thick. It's my own fault for not thoroughly investigating the situation, but we were kind of picturing lazy days swimming on the lake. Fortunately however, beautiful Lake Wenatchee is just a few miles down the road and we were able to get our swimming fix in over there. So all in all, a top-notch stay in a top-notch property. Would recommend!

Location, location, location
We stayed three nights in this cozy house and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The place was spotless, and well stocked, especially the kitchen. Fished from the dock, paddled our kayaks and went over to Lake Wenatchee for swimming in the cold water! It was the hottest weekend of the year, but we enjoyed sitting on the downstairs patio in the afternoon. Leavenworth and Plain were good places to visit also. Do make sure to bring some mosquito repellent, as they are present but not annoyingly so.

Room for everyone
The house has great sleeping arrangements for a large family. We had 8 in our group. View is fantastic. Know that the living room is sunken and requires 2 steps up to get to restroom or to kitchen every time. Also, even though the house can sleep a lot of people the eating table only allows for 4. Super appreciate the toys that were there. We brought our own but who doesn't love to play with blocks Thank you for sharing your home

Easy to find. Great location. Beautiful view.
The house had comfortable relaxing feel. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals. I thought the beds were cozy. We loved just sitting on the porch looking at the lake. I would go back again! Great spot to be at for Steven's pass access.

Impressive Views and Cozy Cabin with Lots of Space
Great location... on the water with a private dock and amazing moutain views. Fair amount of privacy with trees shielding from neighbors. Cabin was spacious, relaxing and décor well done. Large outdoor deck , fire place, hammock, fishing equipment and kayaks. All the amenities you could need, plus some. Only small issues: BBQ controls need attention. Foosball table needs a small fix. Driveway is fairly steep, so need to consider if bringing seniors and/or people with disabilities, snow could present some challenges (there is parking above). That said, we are considering a return visit. VRBO and the Comfy Cabins team was gracious and easy to work with. Thank you!

Not As Expected
• There was only one TV and it was downstairs in the bedroom where the grandkids stayed. There should be at least one other TV and in the living room. Having the only TV downstairs prevents the adults from watching TV after the kids go to bed and early in the morning before they wakeup. • The is no cable or satellite TV! We did bring a steaming device even though we did not realize there was no cable or satellite TV. However, due to the poor quality WIFI we were unable to use it. The WIFI would shutdown multiple times per day and we would have to reboot the router. • On the main Floor the first bedroom on the left the window was open and would not close, my husband had to do a repair to get it to close. • The inside of the house needs to be sprayed for bugs, especially spiders. We killed several "large" spiders that terrified our grandkids. • House needs a good dusting. • Owners need to put away items that they don't want tenants to use. Grandkids were disappointed when they saw the Kayaks/Paddleboat and were told they could not use them. The same goes for items left in the refrigerators downstairs. Yuko Martin Leavenworth #4426524
