A cute and cozy little cabin, Chipmunk Lodge is the perfect place to relax and unwind or to use as a comfy home base for your outdoor adventures. Nestled in the foothills of the majestic Cascade Mountains, it is only 5 minutes to the shores of beautiful Lake Wenatchee and Kahler Glen Golf Course, a scenic 20 minutes to the quaint shops, boutique wineries and restaurants in Leavenworth and only 25 minutes to the slopes of Stevens Pass Ski Resort.

Chipmunk Lodge offers a spacious loft with a queen bed and a half bath. There is one bedroom on the main floor with double bed and a full bath across the hall. The cabin is in a mountain community with private roads, so a crisp morning walk is likely to begin your day, but only after a cup of coffee on the covered porch surrounded by the invigorating smell of pine trees. Too chilly? Start a morning fire in the propane firepit while enjoying your peaceful surroundings. At the end of the day, relax and soak in your own private hot tub. It won't matter if you have spent the day shopping, wine tasting, hiking, biking, skiing, floating the river, swimming, river rafting, golfing or just taking it easy reading a book, the warm water will be a soothing end to your day of adventure.

Year round the Chipmunk Lodge boasts of opportunities to relax, renew and explore a myriad of local recreational activities and monthly festivals in the Leavenworth area. While we do our best to keep this driveway plowed and sanded, winter conditions can change rapidly and make both access to and from this driveway challenging and we cannot guarantee its condition upon your arrival at any time. We are subject to the subcontractor and the Chelan County plows who service this driveway and our county roads so please pack your patience along with following the recommendations below if you choose to book.

Peaceful and convenient
This place is a great distance from Leavenworth and the parks. So grab your lederhosen and your discovery pass and enjoy it all. The primary bed is a bit of a marshmallow, very soft, but I was too relaxed to care. Bring bug spray though, the "beware of attack mosquito" sign wasn't lying.

Wonderful cabin - very clean and comfortable. The only downside was it's proximity to neighbors, but still decent privacy due to the large number of trees surrounding the cabin. We would love to go back again!

Large living room with a large stone fireplace set off with knotty pine walls and a very high cathedral ceiling set the tone for upscale warmth. An expansive lighting system overcomes the darkness inherent in the forestry location. Large eating area and modern kitchen. Unusual stove has two electric burners plus two electric grills. A full bath and small bedroom (double bed) downstairs with a large loft sleeping area with a queen size bed and half bath. Negatives? Lack of clothes storage in loft and a too soft bed.

The location of this property was great-just minutes off hwy 2 but once at the cabin, it was so tucked away in the trees it felt like you were in the woods. It is very pretty and it was very clean. Great bath towels! We were out and about driving a lot so actually didn't get to take advantage of the hot tub and only had the fire pit on once. Next time!! There is a DVD player in the upstairs bedroom and I had brought 2 movies with me so that was nice in the evening. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils but bring foil and/or plastic wrap and zip locs, things like that. There are a LOT of switches in the cabin, we kept flipping them to see what went with what. It would be helpful if they were labeled, lol. We went to Leavenworth for dinner one night-we took the back road-highly recommend! Beautiful drive, and you end up at a farm with reindeer! All together a very fun experience and I would definitely like to go back when it's a little warmer and enjoy sitting on the deck in the morning. Too cold this time!

Great girls weekend!
Chipmunk cabin was cozy and cute. We wanted a quiet getaway someplace cozy and quiet and that is what we received. The kitchen is stocked with everything we needed, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. It took a good while to heat up but once it did it was very warm and cozy. The neighborhood was quiet at private. My only complaint is that when we arrived the first thing we saw was that the back patio roof was collapsed from last winters heavy snow. They did replace the grill and propane fire pit but it was relocated to the front deck. It had no effect on our experience but it would have been nice to know ahead of time so we weren't suprised. That is not the 1st impression I was expecting to have. Also the electric fire place didn't work all the time and I don't think it put out heat but it was pretty to look at when it worked. Overall it was a wonderful place to reconnect with friends and we had a wonderful time there. I would absolutely go back for another visit!

10/10 would recommend. Definitely keep an eye on the weather. If you don't have all-wheel drive and snow/ice is in the forecast, consider getting a rental with those capabilities.

The Chipmunk lodge had everything we were looking for to get away and relax for a few days! Very clean property, all amenities were in good condition and well-kept. One concern we had before our trip was the proximity of the hot tub to the road - we are happy to report there was no issue there. Overall, we had an excellent trip and plan on returning in the future!

Great property but steep driveway
Loved this little cabin. It was very cute and the area was very quiet. The driveway is long and steep. We had a 4WD SUV but if you didnt traveling here in the winter would be challenging. Overall would recommend and stay again.

It's a small cabin and the ambiance is fitting of a cabin although everything is very old and dated. The beds are horrible. They're full size, not even queens so if you're on the bigger size, this is not the place for you and they are pretty uncomfortable. The couch in the living room is actually a futon and also very uncomfortable. Overall, I was not pleased with this place. If the owners/management put in just a bit more investment into this property, it could be a really great place.

A nice little place that felt the right amount of cabin-y but not too rustic. Although in a neighborhood, it's very quiet and really felt like being in the woods. Easy enough to get into Leavenworth for the day, but nice to get out of the hubbub for the rest of our stay.

Everything was more or less as expected. Hot tub is a bit small. No more than two can fit comfortably, but that was perfect for us. Directions would have helped with the propane fire pit as I hadn't used one before, but figured it out with the help of YouTube. 🙂 Additionally, the property was very challenging to find in the dark. There are signs, but they can be hard to read. We also had a circuit breaker flip on us for no apparent reason, but was able to easily/promptly fix after contacting management. Bathtub is a bit small. Barely room for an adult to use it comfortably. All in all, it was a very peaceful and relaxing trip! Cabin was great and met our needs almost perfectly!
