Great for the price.
Kinda out of the way. Tired older home that has lots of charm. Good for solitude. Close to lake Wenatchee. 35 minutes to Leavenworth. I will stay here again if the price is significantly less than places close to Leavenworth.

Tired but quaint. House is old but updated on the inside. Several things need to be repaired or replaced. The back porch needs to be cleaned. Very rustic with a fun country decoration scheme. It say it sleeps 8, but really there is just enough room for 7 adults to be comfortable. It was the low price that caught my attention. 30 minute drive to Leavenworth. 15 minute drive to Lake Wenatchee. I would stay there again if the price is right.

Floors were dirty and things were broken. Not impressed at all. Plus talked to the manager that rents them out and never tried give us a discount or anything.

It was fairly nice. Very hot , and no A/C (especially hot upstairs) and no fans.
Had burnt out light bulbs everywhere and a bear visited the porch garbage in the night. Overall, this place has much potential, our family had fun (we brought our own A/C.) There’s a farmers market on Saturday and lots to do in the area. No phone service in the house, only outside. Had one fire alert, but wasn’t near us. Does have WiFi. Again, we did have fun (family of 7) and it has potential. With a little more thought-could be great! Vacasa is great!

Hidden gem!
When my friends wanted to keep accommodation expenses more reasonable than the Leavenworth holiday surge prices, I admit was hesitant about this rental. The price was right but I was worried about the extra time to get into town, and the pictures didn't wow me. Boy was I wrong! The pictures we saw were outdated. When we arrived, the patio has been painted white and updated with thoughtful antiques that immediately put us in a Winter holiday mood. The rooms were clean, the furniture wasn't shabby at all, and we had every amenity we could have wanted! Lots of heat options (mini duct split, wall heaters, heated lamp in the bathroom, pot belly stove and floor heaters), great decorations, a nice selection of puzzles and board games, well stocked towels and washcloths that were very clean and tidy, as well as mini soaps, shampoos & conditioners. I also found that since the drive into town is downhill, it doesnt feel nearly as long as it sounds/seems on the map. We stayed several days and every time it felt like it only took 15 minutes into town. The way home in the dark, uphill at night feels like the real 30minutes but even then its a beautiful and peaceful drive. I'd read some reviews this place is hard to find, but we didn't have that problem at all. The neighborhood roads were very well cleared and the driveway had been shoveled. It was a dream! We loved this cabin. Its homey, clean, well stocked, well decorated/fun, and a great location after all. If you're willing to look beyond staying right in town, this is a great way to find a reasonable price during the holidays!

So relaxing
I loved how when you drove up it definitely looked like A rough looking cabin… Get inside which is easy to get the keys it’s beautiful… The place has been redone I love the air conditioning… Hands-down best ever! I loved how close it was to my uncle who lives in plain Washington. It wasn’t that far to Leavenworth which I enjoyed!!!❤️ I liked that we could have the upstairs for the kids, and mom and dad the downstairs room… Trust me I loved having the bathroom right next to my room! I just wish the other side of the bed had a wall nightstand or something because I have a CPAP and I have to sleep on the other side of the bed and I’m not used to sleeping on🤷🏽‍♀️ Just a thought …. I could just imagine This cabin with snow all around❤️ It must be soooo beautiful! Thank you for letting us enjoy your cabin! I have to say they get back to you really quick I know because my kids are blind as bats and didn’t see the towels underneath the sink in the bathroom🤦‍♀️ I apologize to humbly and they were very kind and polite! It was clean just a few spiderwebs and that’s to be had in the area it’s in… My kids said the downside was no dishwasher… LOL!🤣 The air conditioner did dribble a little bit down the wall and I notified The person in charge, they thanked me for the information!

Comfortable, Easy Stay, Some Issues
There are many great things about this place, a lot to like. It’s cozy but not cramped, the wood stove is wonderful and there is ample firewood, (but no kindling), the hot water is hot and there is a full-sized washer and dryer. The beds are comfortable enough, and there are plenty of towels supplied. However, the cleaning wasn’t acceptable. There were lost items and food crumbs under the bed with a lot of dust bunnies, and the microwave was filthy with food spatter inside. The microwave also has a concerning scorch in the glass, through to the exterior layer. There were cigarettes scattered around the back porch, as if a pack had been spilled. The cabin has been painted since the photos, it’s brown now. It is also not at all isolated or “private.” It is on a fairly busy road in a neighborhood, surrounded by homes and new construction sites for homes—and work is in progress on those, so hammering and power tools are part of the ambiance. Finally, because of the outlet and switch configuration upstairs, you’ll likely need a flashlight to go downstairs to the bathroom at night from up there. The switch for the overhead fixtures is at the bottom of the stairs, and lights up both rooms. There are no lamps or nightlights to solve this. We had a great time there, all in all, but we had to clean up after previous guests.

Alpine hideaway
Quaint comfortable cabin tucked away in a little secluded quite neighborhood. Necessary stores fairly close. Gorgeous seasonal flora. Great proximity to several outdoor recreational venues as well as local social events.

Fantastic Experience!
We were a little nervous after reading some past review but this cabin is amazing!!! Our kids loved it and it had everything we needed. More than enough space and it has all comforts necessary the price made it so worth it and we love that we chose this over a cheaper hotel/motel. Highly recommend.

Cute rustic cabin in quiet neighborhood
The house was nicely decorated and a decent size for our group of 8 people. Overall it was a good stay. My only suggestion is to add an AC unit upstairs for the summer months. Secondly to clean and repair both porches. Thirdly, do some landscaping because it looked like no one had done anything outside in months.

Glamping at its best
This place was as “cabin” as you can get. Rustic but with a tv in every room (roku, Netflix, Hulu, HBO max- you name it). A ton of wood for us to have fires daily and there’s a cute little store in Plain that will have your basics to get by. There is also a community spot along the river within walking distance. Only thing missing was a strainer and could have used a couple more marshmallow roasters. Overall super cute cabin in the woods if you’re looking for a quiet getaway.

Overall the cabin was fine but there were a few issues that we notified the vacasa team about that would be worth noting here: 1/ the location is not correct in the app or via Google maps. Just keep driving on River Road until you see the address. The other confusing thing is that the home has been painted, so after an already confusing arrival at 11pm in the snow that made it all the more complicated to find the home. 2/ the photos are very out of date. The home is completely redecorated (not necessarily in a bad way, but just know it is much more "rustically" decorated now vs the listing photos, and there is one less chair in the living room, and the remaining chair is completely broken and could only be sat on when carefully propped up against the wall, which was difficult for a group of our size and disappointing. 3/ the cleanliness was a concern. It wasn't filthy by any means and the bathroom was mostly in great shape, but there were some food splatters on the kitchen cabinets and the heat vents were all filthy which didn't feel great. Other things - there are a lot of homes around this cabin which was difficult to tell from the photos and due to the location not appearing correct. Not a bad thing just know this isn't really a secluded feel. Otherwise, beds were pretty comfy, the place stayed warm, and it was a great launching pad to our outdoor adventures, just not a place we'd want to sit and comfortably hang in all day.
