Relaxing stay with great hosts

We loved our stay at Villa Les Goelands. The property is very well kept . The pool and air conditioning were awesome and for me necessary as I don't tolerate the higher heat very well without some occasional relief. Our hosts were nearby which made it convenient when we needed assistance , but otherwise we felt the place was ours totally. All appliances worked well . The space is ideal for relaxing, reading, taking dips in the pool. lounging around. Lots of doors and windows to catch the breeze. We had a couple issues and our host was very kind, helpful and responsive. Genuinely great people. Some comments - roads in the area are a bit rough so you should plan for a bit slower drive after leaving the highway. There were power interruptions when we were there on the island - nothing to do with the host or property - just be aware this can happen so you can plan for it. Cell coverage was spotty for us at the property (but worked nearby) but the wifi was flawless. Overall this was a RELAX trip for us and Villa Les Goelands was ideal for that purpose. It is not in a heavy tourist area which was attractive for us , but would make an excellent base for exploring the island. On the other hand there is a wonderful beach and headlands to explore and hike, within a 10 minute walk. We recommend Villa Les Goelands wholeheartedly.
