"Overall, this was a good Gite to spend a week in Normandy. It was well equipped, comfortable for a four person stay, and close to the coast for visits to lovely towns and beaches. A good bus service runs hourly down to Le Havre and also further up the coast. The local village is only a few minutes walk away and has a mini market, hotel and restaurant. Etretat is a little further but well worth the walk as it is a beautiful town with even more facilities. Spending time at the house is no hardship...

"Die Lage der Wohnung (umgebaute Scheune/Garage) liegt am ruhigen Ende einer Straße. Außer dem Hahn hört man morgens nichts. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und hat alles was man braucht außer Platz. "This hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to the cruise port and many other amenities. The train and tram stations are within 1 block of the hotel. If you don't speak French be prepared to use a translator, the staff mainly speaks French. The laundry room is great bonus amenity. "

"Original room had an adjoining room door. We could hear the family next door as if the door was open. We were upgraded to a kitchen style room with a great view of yhe Honfleur bridge. Pizza at the hotel was ok and filled the void. Free parking on site, breakfast not included but available. Breakfast is typical hotel breakfast buffet of scrambled eggs, bacon, breads, pastries, cereal, coffee, etc."

Great stay at a nice price!

"I had a very good stay here and ended up extending my stay for an extra night. It is a good base near the train/bus station for day trips to Êtretat and Honfleur. Refrigerator in the room. You could also base here and do Caen in a day trip. Friendly staff and student vibe with many schools and universities in this area. It is 5 mins walk to the Shopping center at Docks. There is a Lidl grocery there too. "
