Former barn renovated with all-electric comfort; in the countryside in its flowered and wooded park of 3000 m2; the ground floor includes a kitchen equipped with all new household appliances; separate toilets; a bathroom with jet shower cubicle and a sink cabinet; large room / lounge of 50 m2 with TV tnt and dvd player two large sofas 2 armchairs; upstairs, 2 bedrooms with new high-end bedding; a large bathroom with bath and shower a double sink cabinet; separate toilets; our gîte 'les hydrangeas' is 130 km from paris; 70 km from honfleurdeauville 30 km from rouen; all shops are in the center of the village 1 km away; total comfort and tranquility guaranteed .NOTA: FROM JUNE TO SEPTEMBER MINIMUM RENTAL OF A WEEK; meeting possibility for family meals 22 covers maximum (220 euros for room / dishes / kitchen / accessories) + 40 euros cleaning and various energy package + 40 euros per room and per night

Great place to stay!
Les Hydrangeas combines excellent quietful lodging at the Nord-Normandy countryside whilst very nearby the beautiful city of Rouen, both a cultural and touristical gem , this at only 1 hour drive of the Normandy coast.

Beautiful property in quiet relaxing location.
We stayed here for a week at the end of August. We were immediately made to feel at home by the owners Claude and Marie-France who were very warm and friendly. Claude speaks very good English which made up for my embarrassing lack of French. The property itself is very clean and very well maintained with everything that you need supplied. It was ideally located for us as we visited, Chateau de Versaille (don't go when it is raining, because everybody else does as well), Monet's Garden in Giverny, Parc Asterix, Honfleur and Rouen. We had a great relaxing week away, I just wish that we were there for 2 weeks, and I would certainly recommend a stay at Les Hydrangeas to anybody. Thank you to Claude and Marie-France for letting us use their lovely property as our holiday home.

Leuk huis op een groot perceel.
Leuk huis met alle gemakken voorzien, behalve Wi-Fi. Genoeg parkeergelegenheid en erg grote tuin. Huis van eigenaar en van dochter eigenaar staan vlakbij, maar totaal geen last van gehad. Privacy staat voorop. In vijver naast huis, zitten veel vissen. Rondom huis graan-velden op afstand. Snachts heerlijk koel in woning, door koude nachten, terwijl het toch 25-27 graden overdag was. Genoeg schaduw in tuin door grote bomen. Ook veel zon in tuin. Erg leuke accommodatie om nog eens terug te komen

Séjour formidable en Normandie
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans un gîte bien aménagé et plein de charme au milieu d'un très beau jardin. La location a été conforme au descriptif proposé et aux photos, propre et très bien entretenue. BEAUTIFUL COTTAGE AND GARDENS IN NORMANDY
We had a wonderful week in Les Hydrangeas. Hosts Claude and Marie-France were warm and welcoming and made the stay very special for us. The cottage was immaculate and wonderfully well appointed with big spacious rooms and a fireplace. A perfect base for exploring the area with day trips to Giverny, Honfleur, Rouen and the beautiful towns and villages of Normandy. Richard and Karen, Australia

Idyllic property
What a wonderful stay in a beautiful property. We had 2 weeks here in August and had a totally relaxing and enjoyable time. The house is exactly as described and is in a perfect location for visiting the beautiful villages and also the towns such as Rouen!Honfleur,Deauville,Trouville,Bayeux. We stayed with our daughter and her family and they went to PAris DIsneyland for 2days. Everything in the house is of the highest quality and CLaude and Marie-France are the perfect hosts. Claude loves to chat and speak English and Marie-France is delightful and if you have any French she is a very friendly lady. All fittings and extras are of the highest quality and in the garden there is a fenced off pond and table and chairs and sun loungers so you can relax in the sunshine. Claude is very helpful and will give you information about local areas, restaurants and local events and he grows the most wonderful green beans !! If you need wi-fi and Internet this is a. It bit and miss but other than that I cannot fault this property at all . I loved it and will definately be returning.

Delicious place to be!
Warm welcome in a spotless house with beds! We (family with 2 teenagers) had a wonderful time in the house, the garden and the surrounding countryside of Le Thuit-Signol. The garden is not private, but it is so big that you certainly feels private. There is respect for the guests. Badminton and "jeu de boule". The house is more than well equipped! Excellent beds and a good bathroom. A must to come back. Very friendly owners.

Amazing house, great hosts!
Great location and beautifully finished house. We hired the place for my wedding in Thuit Signol and Mr and Mrs Roussel could not have been more communicative and helpful before we arrived, and welcoming and accommodating once we turned up. We will definitely book again when we go to see the in-laws!

Wonderful place to stay in Normandy
Les hydrangeas is a wonderful place from which explore Normandy. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, and is a fantastic display of the pride and care the owners Marie-France and Claude show in their property and how wonderfully they treat their guests. The cottage is extremely well equipped, and is situated in a lovely peaceful setting surrounded by a very well looked after garden which is a pleasure to wander around in. The owners live on site, are very respectful of their guest's privacy, but are always available to answer any questions you may have about the accommodation and places of interest in the area. If the French language is not your strong point, conversation in English is very good. The town of Thuit-Signol has a fantastic bakery and butcher shop, which are a pleasant ten minute walk away. A larger grocery store with gas station is about a ten minute drive away. All in all we had a fantastic stay at Les hydrangeas, thank you Marie-France and Claude for your warm hospitality and for sharing your beautiful bit of Normandy with us. My wife and I, and my 84 year old mother stayed here, and would not hesitate in the least to recommend this cottage as a place to stay to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful location from which to explore Normandy. (Just an additional note, there are stairs up to the bedrooms, but my reasonably fit mother had no problems going up or down)

séjour inoubliable Tout est conforme à la description. Cette demeure est très agréable, spacieuse, bien chauffée, très bien entretenue , rien ne manque, l'essentiel et même les petits plus...du moulin à légumes au cuit vapeur ! Une petite promenade de dix minutes pour aller faire les courses au centre du village, une région riche en visites en quelques kilomètres. L'âme de cette maison et le rayonnement de ses propriétaires d'une grande attention nous ont permis de nous ressourcer dans le calme. Merci à Marie-France et Claude pour leur générosité.
