"Has to be the nicest accommodation we’ve ever stayed in during our 14 years of skiing. Large 4 bedroom apartment chalet with private sauna and lane pool. Big kitchen/living area, comfortable bedrooms, and heated boot room. Central location, does have a steep hill up to chalet, but keeps you fit .Would recommend hiring lockers near ski lift if you don’t want to carry your skis up every day. Overall fabulous stay."

"Apartment was a great size for 5 of us (2 bed plus alcove with bunks). It was clean & well equipped & the reception staff were very friendly & helpful. We loved the swimming pool sauna & steam room - a great addition to our holiday! Location-wise it is at one end of the Deux Alpes strip (less busy end) which was good from a noise perspective. The ski bus stop is right outside (although don’t rely on these…. Especially if you have lessons to get to…They can be a bit dodgy) Belle Etoile chair lift...

"Big room with a nice kitchen. Village is far from main Alpe D'Huez by car but accessible by ski lifts. Amenities were nice."

En revanche, l'annonce sur le site Homelidays est trompeuse: elle laisse croire qu'on loue un de ces superbes chalets et à l'arrivée on découvre qu'on a loué un cagibi! "We have been skiing in France for more than 40 years and this was the best apartment we have stayed in. It was excellent in every way.The rooms were spacious, the bathrooms were excellent, the kitchen was fully equipped with all the items you require to cook for the 6 of us. The lounge had seat for everybody and a great dining table to eat at.The ski locker and boot room were right next to the piste and you could easily ski from and to the apartment with ease down a green run to the lift...
