"The Manoir is a charming, rustic property. A warm and friendly welcome from Marie. Te property is a couple of kilometres from the nearest village so peace & isolation is guaranteed. A refreshing dip in the pool on arrival was very welcome. Marie’s home cooking for the evening meal was lovely with a great selection of wines. The room was on the top floor. Good, comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a great walk in shower."

"What a superb little place, not so little as the dog and I had the house to ourselves. If you want something which is quiet, safe, typically French and within a 10 minute walk of a fab bistro in the village then this is for you. Host was superb, great communication and attention. "What an incredible coincidence! We stayed at this same hotel in the same room 8 years ago! Last time, the little bed in the corner wasn’t necessary for a couple, but this time we came with our 2 year old son who loved sleeping in his first real bed! The new indoor pool is a luxurious addition since our 2016 stay and this time we splurged for the in-room breakfast, which was so copious and delicious that we haven’t been hungry for the rest of the day! More than worth the additional charge! "

"Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise."

"The two of us had a delightful stay at Le Petite Vigne. We were cycling town to town and there was a place to secure our bikes which we appreciated. The house is lovely, old and full of character. We were greeted by the hostess Stephanie (and a cat named Bolo) after letting ourselves in the front. She is the nicest, sweetest lady we met on our entire trip!
