"Our stay at the cottage was ok, the pool is lovely and the hot tub is a plus. The cottage is very small, we are a family of 4 which was tight. 6 people would be too many as there is only a sofa bed to sit on in the living room so people have to sit at the dinner table in the evening. Thankfully we didn’t need to use the sofa bed as it was broken. We did inform the owner who said she was aware it was broken but didn’t say it would be fixed or a new sofa bought. "The house was fabulous. The property is gorgeous with a beautifully renovated farm house -modern amenities and comforts within a classic setting. Top notch furnishings and very tasteful The perfect location for DDay beaches and Monte St Michel daytrips. Peaceful and restorative - we could not have been happier. Catherine our host and her family were lovely. We were sad to leave!"

"The property was Ok but the bedrooms let it down. Neither bedroom had any storage space, just a hanging rail on which to hang trousers and shirts. No drawer space whatsoever, which means living out of a suitcase for a week. The ground floor bedroom was very small which means the suitcases were on the floor and presented a trip hazard. The shower was good but the washroom and the toilets were very small. The kitchen had all you could require and very modern. Just one sofa for 4 people was too...

"We really like this gite. Peaceful location, perfect for relaxation and local area is pretty with lots of nice villages and scenic drives. The weather is unpredictable, so an upgrade to the indoor seating would be nice for more comfort on rainy days. Overall, it's great!"

"What a wonderful place! We are a family of four and were worried that our two boys would run out of things to do but they loved it! The garden is big enough to explore, play football, badminton and get lost in. The swing and outdoor shower were an added bonus. The house is perfectly located 1hr from Caen, 20 minutes from Vire and an easy drive to the D day beaches. There is a beautiful lake near by which has pedalos and canoes for hire and for adrenaline junkies there is the Normandie Luge and...

"Chouette endroit au vert. Heureusement qu’il y a l’extérieur et qu’il faisait bon… Par contre, l’intérieur est un mobilhome.. donc très étroit et pour ce qui est des couchages… mieux vaut avoir un bon dos..Et pour 6… un peu rude non? Un peu déçue du manque de clarté sur le bien …sinon tout était bien propre à notre arrivée"

"Lovely accommodation and couldn't praise the hosts highly enough. The guest pack gave us lots of ideas on where to eat and some places to go and the accommodation was very comfortable. Thank you again!"

"The check in/ check out procedure was made super simple but a very easy to communicate with host. Bar, restaurant, shop and fuel station are all a short walk away. Highly recommended place to stay!!"

"The property was more beautiful than the pictures and much bigger. Clean, stylishly decorated and everything you need. The view is beautiful. I will definitely come back. Odile and her husband were great hosts and charming."

"Excellent place for a week with the family. Facilities good. We all loved the jacuzzi. Off road parking and really convenient location for visits to the Normandy beaches, Mont St Michel, Granville etc Lovely beach and dune walks locally and reasonably close to good supermarkets. Next time we'll remember that shops have different closure times to ours. Only downside was steepness of stairs but our senior was glad of the downstairs bedoom"

"Needed a place to stay last minute as i was too tired to put up my tent on a motorcycle tour in France. I was delighted to find this accommodation, which was a nice drive both through country lanes but also accessible from the main roads. The reception staff, Fabien and Anne Lyse were very welcoming, helpful and couldnt do enough to ensure my stay was comfortable. I opted not to have breakfast, and this resulted in me having 14 hours' unplanned sleep in a very comfy bed. Coffee is on tap and there is a bar and restaurant as well as nearby supermarkets and other stores. The room was clean and had everything i needed. There is a vending machine and drinks facilities to use out of hours. Google maps didnt bring me to quite the right spot, so if that happens to you just keep heading up the hill and it is on your right. "

Good hotel, good walking.

"Great setting of the hotel, upon arrival we were given an upgrade of our room. Nice and very large on the ground floor. A somewhat dated room but nevertheless clean and lovely. Parking was easy and on the large grounds. A quiet area. For dinner we decided to walk into town a walk of about 25 minutes. To begin with it was downhill and then levelled out and then up the hill towards the church. We are older citizens and the walk was no major challenge more a lovely walk. The town has many choices for dinner and is a nice place to walk around. Overall the hotel was a very good choice. Breakfast was a nice affair."
