"A lovely house. The grounds are phenomenal with lovely views of the countryside. Plenty of room for people. Mahil was very helpful and approachable. Pool is glorious and huge. There was a heating issue with the pool but Mahil fixed it without haste. Slight issue is the shop is probably 20 minutes away. Also we paid extra for sheets and towels as didn’t have enough room in the car but there was only one towel each and no floor mat or tea towel. Otherwise very lovely property."

"Cannot fault anything about the house and garden! Our two week stay was pure heaven. Nothing to listen to otherthan the birds plus the stunning views from the garden were wonderful. We had hot air balloons fly by on the warm dry nights. Lots of buzzards, kites, eagles etc circling on the thermals above the house. Redstarts, blackbirds etc vising the garden. "The house is well proportioned, bright, airy and light. The pool is amazing, super clean and a very good size. The pool is set in an amazing garden. So the view from the balcony above is amazing, with the further view over the hills and forests below the property. Throughly enjoyed our stay and both at the house and Sarlat and the surrounding area."

"Lovely house, extremely well equipped and clean. Fantastic pool and hot tub. Andy and Uliana were very helpful but not intrusive. We ate at two restaurants in Meyrals which were very good, also Sunday lunch at Aberge Medieval in Audrix, about a 15 minute drive away, was outstanding. Highlight of the week for food was Dimitri cooking for us, it was delicious, plentiful and no more expensive than eating out. We can highly recommend Les Hirondelles!"

We have raised a claim (beware that this is booked through a separate agency Herez who once you have paid take very little interest or care. We took pictures and sent to Vrbo and Agency Herez of brown stained pillows, old bed blankets, broken and filthy shower and the whole place is old and tired. Nothing like the pictures on the website. "Nous avons loué ce gite pour entrerrer la vie de jeune Garçon de notre Ami. Nous étions une petite vingtaine venue pour profiter et nous amuser. Nous avonc choisis un weekend de pont, pour pouvoir liéer l'EVG et profiter sur nos temps libre de la Dordogne. Grace à la météo nous avons passé le principal de notre temps à profiter de l'exterieur entre la piscine, le terrain de boule, et la grande surface de terrain en herbe. "This was an excellent property that caters for all age groups. The property was large enough to cope with 8 adults and a baby. It was a 10 minute walk out of Sarlat so easy for early morning croissants or walking back from an evening meal. We had on incident which was quickly dealt with by the owner.
