It's also away from the center of the village, so there aren't many tourists; only those who stay in the same area. The owner responded promptly and was very good. She answered all of our questions and offerred locations to visit, places to eat and things to do, which were delicious and great scenery. "All of us thought this property was the worst we stayed at! Not enough towels or kitchen supplies no sheets for the pull out couch. They advertised air conditioning but only gave use a small fan also advertised a second bathroom that was locked the property was not clean and the dishes where dirty. they had an infestation of ants. Look for a different place."

"This place is beautiful! The owners are really nice and helpful, the garden is awesome and was the perfect playground for our little daughter. We really enjoyed our time there. We can only recommend this house. Thanks to James and his family!"

"We had a wonderful week. The accommodation is spacious with good facilities. We were blessed with some very good weather so were able to enjoy the local area which is very beautiful (the donkeys are a treat!). We wanted a quiet and relaxing time and thanks to Viviana and her daughter that is exactly what we got."

"Beautiful location, restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. Lots of stairs on the property. Had a toy room and playground that our toddler loved. Easy to take the bus to Riomaggiore (10 min ride, 2.50 Euro per person)"

"Nice apartment with balcony and seaview and all necessary amenities. Excellent breakfast available. A steep walk to the beach or into town, but good private parking for a car. "

"Great view seaside view with the calming sound of the waves breaking onto the shore. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful in setting us in and providing recommendations for our travel around Cinque Terre. Room is simple but cozy. Everything works but the air conditioner definitely needs some cleaning/servicing."

"This was an excellent choice for a place to stay in La Spezia. I am so happy that i booked this hotel. The decor was modern. The staff was excellent and very welcoming. Even the people staying at the hotel were friendly. The breakfast was great as well amd had a good variety of food to choose from. The room was comfortable and I had a huge balcony. I love being near clock towers and this room didn't disappoint! It is walkable to the train station and just about everything else in La Spezia. If you need a place to stay, The Poet Hotel is it! For the people who talk about the strong fragrance, this is a large reed diffuser that is located in the stairwell. It was noticable outside the room, but definitely not in my room. "

" We arrived at the hotel during the night when it was already dark. In the morning, as I woke up and looked out the window, the view was simply breathtaking. The area is stunning and very inviting. Parking at night is available around the hotel, with free public parking until the morning. However, the reception desk offers a more convenient parking arrangement in a dedicated lot just one block away, which I would highly recommend. The staff was kind and accommodating, and the hotel is clean, elegant, and well-maintained. A highly recommended stay!"
